Best book I have 'read' in years!
What did you love best about Outlander?
I loved the characters, the setting and the narration was suberb!
Who was your favorite character and why?
Can I pick two? Jaime and Claire!

Jamie. Loved Davina Porter's narration. She has such a subtle range of voice for each character. So entrancing.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes, found myself wasting time in the car or while doing chores to keep listening.
Any additional comments?
The historical aspects of this book were very realistic. Loved the medical and herb knowledge displayed by Claire.

Great novel
Nicely written and very nicely read. I read this book years ago, but enjoyed listening to this historical novel. The narrator captures the main character very well. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes historical novels with a little Sci Fi thrown in!

Outstanding!
Would you consider the audio edition of Outlander to be better than the print version?
The audio edition of Outlander enhances the fabulous work in print. Davina Porter is amazing with the narration and voices. I have read and listened to this book several times.
What did you like best about this story?
The start of the relationship between Jamie and Claire is my favorite, however, there isn't any part of this story that I don't love.
Which character – as performed by Davina Porter – was your favorite?
Davina Porter performs all of the characters perfectly!
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
This book is much too large to listen to in one sitting. That being said it goes by way too fast too. You will be caught up in this story and be thinking of nothing else.

I couldn't stop listening.
If you could sum up Outlander in three words, what would they be?
Historical Mystery Excitement
What was one of the most memorable moments of Outlander?
When Jamie took Claire back to the stones to let her go.
Which scene was your favorite?
When Claire was being attacked and she turned to look into Jaime's face as he peered in the window to rescue her.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
The way Jamie had to tell Claire about is time in prison. It was so heart wrenching. Then she had to reenact parts of it to make him fight for his life.

The book is amazing from cover to cover.
