Melanie 'Mel' Morton is an adventure reporter, who lost her grandfather in World War II. Enter Jack Hamilton, sexy octogenarian, genius/scientist, and former WWII bomber pilot. It is the best one I have heard.
I wanted to but couldn't listen to all at one time
It is an exciting adventure of a very intelligent young women who went back in time to complete a task. It was also interesting because it went back to WWII in Europe behind enemy lines.
How effortlessly Pauline Baird Jones writes and gets the reader into the story.
I couldn't stop listening to this audio book! It was a great escape for a long week-end spent at the in-laws. I highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys time-travel books and especially if you enjoy the WWII era.
"An Intriguing story"
Yes, It was a good story with quite a few twists and turns
There are quite a lot of books with the time slip theme, but this book offers a new idea to me in that the characters are purposely going back in time to correct things they inadvertently did during their first visit to the past.
No this is my first book read by her
Yes. I felt great sympathy for Melanie and Jack and found myself urging them on in their endeavours
An interesting read, especially for people who have memories of the second world war, however remote they may be. My memories aare those of a very small child but I could associate with the feelings of the characters.
