Oh yeah. A single look at the leggy blonde in the stands and Tucker Jenkins is ready to buck all night long. It's time to forget all about his cheating ex and his usual hands-off policy. Becca Hart is an East Coast professor. Not a buckle bunny. But no degree can prepare her for the moves of the sexy bull rider she hooks up with at her first rodeo… or the shock of finding him at her first Oklahoma State University staff meeting. Tuck knows it's all about holding on, no matter how wild the ride. Now he just has to convince Becca that a rough start out of the chute doesn't mean they aren't a smokin' combination. Contains mature themes.

"Johnson alternates between Tucker's sex-centric narration and Becca's more emotion-focused perspective, both of which are convincing and satisfying." (Publishers Weekly)
Love this story. Cat Johnson has written a story that I want to listen to from start to finish. Alice Chapman has Don a superb job voicing the characters worth the read and the listen!
the narrator does NOT need to pronounce every single syllable ... especially bc that is now how a cowboy talks...
her tone of voice for Tucker made him sound non-intelligent, which was clearly not the case.
a good love story.
No spoilers! Love HOT, sexy books w/a plot. No vampires, paranormal, teens 4 me. I also review in exchange for books-lots of fun surprises!
Absolutely, any friend who isn't shy about hot & sexy scenes.
Tucker! Who wouldn't love the sexy, moody, strong, sweet....cowboy/soldier???
I listened on 3x speed because it seemed slow. However, Alice Chapman did a fantastic with female characters & even better job portraying male characters. Very husky and deep voices.
NOTES: Mature themes, strong language
The narrator sounded like she had a mouthful of spit and a stuffy nose. Or a mouthpiece not sure, however, if you can ignore that, then the story was pretty good. I have always liked the author, but the narrator not so much.
Great Books Don't Promote Violence
I tried 3 different times to get engrossed in One Night with a Cowboy. The main characters (cowboy and college professor) seemed too immature for their ages, so I kept loosing interest and finally gave up for good.
