Can anything really change in 24 hours? Can everything? Maggie Doyle has one night to raise fifteen thousand dollars, or it's bye-bye home and business, the only good things she has left. Her only option? Find the stepbrother she hasn't spoken to in years - the one who ruined her life to begin with - and hope against hope he'll cough up the cash.
Jack Major's got his life all mapped out. He's rich, powerful, and about to marry Boston's most successful attorney. So why can't he forget Maggie - the girl who walked out of his life ten years ago, and refused to tell him what he'd done wrong?
When Maggie's search for her stepbrother leads her to the Deveaux Ball, a high-profile charity event in Boston, she runs into Jack and the sparks fly. But is it too late for a first love to re-ignite? And if she reveals her secret, will Jack leave her for good? One night in Boston is all they have to find true love, or lose everything.

The narration was pretty flat, characters didn't stand out from one another and not much enthusiam when it was necessary. Storyline did not do much for me either. Started at the beginning with high hopes and just continued to listen about a trainwreck night that mostly blew out of proportion because of the characters' overeaggerated responses to situations. Book could have been a lot shorter and less dragged out with repetetive drama that couldn't engage the reader.
Even though he is the whole reason Mags goes to Boston, I'd cut Dillon. He is not present for 90% of the story and doesn't need to be.
Lame read but for 4.95 you get what you pay for.
