Lucy is used to having a handle on things herself: her business, which she's fighting to turn around after a rough patch, and her love life, which consists of carefully conducted casual encounters during which only she calls the shots. A one night stand with George, the irresistible tall, husky, rough biker whose deceptive exterior hides a gentler side, changes everything. Her usual approach doesn't work for her anymore; she doesn't want to say goodbye. Is it time she let someone else into her life for longer than just one night? Meanwhile, the crucial project she's just landed is about to fall to pieces, threatening her reputation as well as her finances. Suddenly Lucy has to learn what it's like to not be in control of anything at all.

A pretty good audiobook with a sweet, sexy story!
A short, but engaging romance between two people from different worlds who meet in a bar, have a one night stand and find themselves wanting more. There are miscommunications and insecurities that I found endeared the characters to me.
The narrator was really good. She did a great job with inflection and tone and even with the male voice.
Yes, hot, hot, hot!!
she did not bad

Not sure how to review something like this. :)
its hot though!
This story was a quick and pleasant read. The characters were likeable enough, story was interesting, and the narrator did a fantastic job. I did find the characters a little stubborn and insecure at times, and it felt like heroine was a bit of a whiner, but I still enjoyed this book overall. The struggle to fit in and collaborate with others from different backgrounds was realistic, and relatable. I would recommend this story to anyone looking for a speedy story full of angst and passionate situations.

I found that despite it's short length, the story was a good one. I melted for George. He was a the real thing, the bad-boy savior. The relationship was messy with misunderstandings and insecurities galore. But "all's well that ends well," as they say!
Wiggling Up My Thumbs!
Lucy and George have a one night stand but quickly realize it is much more than that. Being less than honest with each other nearly ruins their relationship and it is only after everything is laid on the table that they finally come together again. The narration was well done and I could listen to her voice all day! One Night Stand was a short, steamy, enjoyable audiobook and I would recommend it.

One night stand was a good story of two people who met in a bar and had a one night stand that turned into more. Where I struggled with this story was feeling like George had any personality. Lucy was the main character and her moods and feelings sometimes confused me, I get she was confused and unsure of the relationship I just felt like it didn't bring much to the story dwelling on it at times. George on the other hand I wanted him to man up more and speak his mind.
Though the story hit a point where I could have cared less it did change and intrigue me. Once it hit that turning point I found myself trying to guess what the big secret really was.

Love audiobooks w/ a passion! Romance and fantasy tickles my fancy! Especially IR, AA, NA romance and Urban fantasy oh and YA contemporary!
the 1st half is better than the last half. it got a little boring when there were less love scenes. great narrator though!
Enjoy reading fiction, thrillers (JD Robb), romance, military and comedy (Evanovich). Listen to Audiobooks on treadmill and long road trips!
Quick read. A few holes in the soft storyline. Narrator very British, did a good job for both main characters.

"Short and Sex-filled Story!"
My time was well-spent listening to this audiobook, as it was just a short and sexy listen. The female narrator of this audiobook really brought the story to life. She sounds like she has the perfect way with words and was able to interpret the characters extremely well; I was drawn into the story through the animation in her voice.
I have always enjoyed erotic romance books and will continue to read more. Unfortunately for me I wasn't quite as into the 'insta-love' that I found this story was based around. Personally, I would've delved into the characters and their personal lives a lot more, as I didn't connect with them as strongly as I thought I could've.
Strangely for me, the scenes I most enjoyed were when Lucy was working on her project at work. I felt that it was those scenes that developed the story and helped us gain a greater insight into the characters.
I enjoyed the latter part of the story the most, as I felt that we got to know the characters a lot more than in the beginning. More so, I think I would enjoy some sort of prequel, rather than a follow-up book.
Overall this audio book was a 3.5 star rating for me. I found the female narrator extremely easy to listen to but there just wasn't quite enough storyline to satisfy me completely.
