Another Great Vampire story, Vlad's Story

Who was your favorite character and why?

Vlad, I loved his interaction with Cat and Bones in their series and it was great finding out more about him. Love his self importance.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, it kept getting better as you see the relationship develop between them and get to hear about Vlad's past.

Any additional comments?

This is the first frost book which you can listen too without it affecting the stories in other series. She does a great job creating another story to build a series from. If you liked any of her other stories then you have to listen to this one, especially if you likes Vlad in her other books.

Another Fantastic Series!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Jeaniene so did not disappoint. This story has been entertaining, comical, romantic with enough who did it, that it has captured my attention. I am disappointed that I have to wait till March for the 2nd installment! I only have an hour left of this story and I am trying to stretch it out as much as possible. I don't want it to end.

Another great serries started

As always this is another start to a wonderful series by Jeaniene Frost. Looking forward to the next book. :)

voice actor was fan-fucking-tastic! and Jeaniene Frost is an amazing author. Overall it was just plain awesome.

There is nothing here I can say that won't be just gushing.

If you like Jeaniene Frost and if you like Tavia Gilbert, there is nothing about this book that will change that.

It is all about bad boy Vlad, and that is all good. There was not an HEA but the HFN seems to fit better with Vlad anyway.

Good stuff.

Loved this Book!!

I had started with the Night Huntress series, but jumped to this one out of curiosity and I'm glad I did. Very good pace and good clif hanger at the end. I can't wait for the next one!! Some good supporting people and I would love to see more on them as well. I wasn't real crazy about the narrator, I think Sophie Eastlake would have made the performace better. But over all, I enjoyed this book so much that I've listened to it twice now in a week and half. It's a rare book that will make me do that. While I'm waiting for the next one in this series, I will go back to Night Huntress to find out more about Cat and Bones.

Yes, the narration was EXCELLENT

Frost and Gilbert do it again

A great story with lots of action. Frost has written a great story using one of fictions most notorious figures. Gilbert once again does a terrific job performing all the characters.

One of my favorite series, I love Vlad!!! The storyline and characters are fantastic. And I have to mention Tavia Gilbert (who narrates all her books) is absolutely FABULOUS!!!!
