Publisher's summary

Jocelyn Butler has been hiding from her past for years. But all her secrets are about to be laid bare…

Four years ago, Jocelyn left her tragic past behind in the States and started over in Scotland, burying her grief, ignoring her demons, and forging ahead without attachments. Her solitary life is working well - until she moves into a new apartment on Dublin Street where she meets a man who shakes her carefully guarded world to its core.

Braden Carmichael is used to getting what he wants, and he’s determined to get Jocelyn into his bed. Knowing how skittish she is about entering a relationship, Braden proposes an arrangement that will satisfy their intense attraction without any strings attached.

But after an intrigued Jocelyn accepts, she realizes that Braden won’t be satisfied with just mind-blowing passion. The stubborn Scotsman is intent on truly knowing her...down to the very soul.

Excellent Narrator for an amazing story

Would you consider the audio edition of On Dublin Street to be better than the print version?

Absolutely, I read along while listening. There were many differences, and the audio seemed to be the correct version.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Braden. . . Alpha Sweet Sexy man.

What about Paula Costello’s performance did you like?

Paula Costello without any doubt is the best narrator I've listened to. Her performance on the Scottish accent was just excellent. She flowed between American and Scottish accents, female to male flawlessly.

Any additional comments?

This was an amazing story that hit all emotions. Now my favorite audio.

Really enjoyed.....

Would you consider the audio edition of On Dublin Street to be better than the print version?

Didnt read the print version and I don't think I would had the same experience or enjoyed it as much.

What other book might you compare On Dublin Street to and why?

Can't think of one to compare - it has drama, love, sex and irony.

Have you listened to any of Paula Costello’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I have not listene to Paula Costello's performance before and I enjoyed the accent and the smooth story and transition of characters voices.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

It made me laugh the humor and the easy build of the relationship between Braden and Jocelyn and the determination of Braden to be by Jocelyn's side and show her the love she is scared to have or experienced.

Any additional comments?

Its an unexpected love story.

Awesome!!!

This was a great story!! The lead heroine kinda got to me in the beginning, but she started to redeem herself. The narrator for this audible did a phenomenal job! Her accents for Braden & other Scottish accents were amazing!! Totally worth it!

Teepee 2/21

This is my first time writing a review. This is my first book by this author and narrator, and I was blown away by Paula Costello's voice, the Scottish dialect made both Braden and all the characters in the book come alive. I loved every minute of this book and periodically listen to certain chapters because Jocelyn, excuse me "Joss" is hilariously funny. I wasn't sure I would like it because I rarely like female narrators. This was well worth the credit. The storyline starts out very sad, but gives an understanding why Joss is the way she is and as she starts to unravel her feelings about her loss, she begins to open up and starts to feel again. You will cry, and laugh as you get to know each character. Great read.

Enjoyable

This was a really enjoyable story. The narrator did an excellent job with the accents. closer to the end I was getting irritated with Joce's inability to let go for stubbornness but I did enjoy the ending.

Scots Love

Such a non traditional love story! Typically it’s the male characters with the issues. I loved the story and was pleasantly surprised! Narrator was FANTASTIC!

Really entertaining and satisfying romance

This was my first read from this author and I was very pleased. The characters were deep and the love story with all the angst was satisfying. The male character wasn’t obtuse and not recognizing the issues of the MC which was rewarding as a reader. This won’t be my last read from this author
