Publisher's summary

Jocelyn Butler has been hiding from her past for years. But all her secrets are about to be laid bare…

Four years ago, Jocelyn left her tragic past behind in the States and started over in Scotland, burying her grief, ignoring her demons, and forging ahead without attachments. Her solitary life is working well - until she moves into a new apartment on Dublin Street where she meets a man who shakes her carefully guarded world to its core.

Braden Carmichael is used to getting what he wants, and he’s determined to get Jocelyn into his bed. Knowing how skittish she is about entering a relationship, Braden proposes an arrangement that will satisfy their intense attraction without any strings attached.

But after an intrigued Jocelyn accepts, she realizes that Braden won’t be satisfied with just mind-blowing passion. The stubborn Scotsman is intent on truly knowing her...down to the very soul.

Stayed up all night listening!!

Any additional comments?

I have never stayed up all night listening to a book... This is my first, probably not the last, but it is the first. The writing flowed, the characters sucked me in, and the romance was hot!! In my opinion this book had it all!! I already want to listen to it again.

Freaking Fantastic!!!

I loved this book! The writing, the story, even the narration was amazing! I’m glad I listened to the audiobook because I got all the beautiful Scottish accents that I didn’t know I needed. The narrator (Paula Costello) was amazing in how she was able to stress different parts so it felt like the events and conversations were actually happening. A lot of audiobooks disappoint me with monotone narrator, but this one was amazing.

Not only is the story great but the narrator does an amazing job at captivating all the characters and feelings needed to tell this love story.

it was okay

Sweet story of a passionate love affair with a fairly predictable antagonist issue. The sex isn't exactly in the erotica category if that is what you are looking for in a listen. But definitely some salty language and stuff that is better listened to privately. I thought the Scottish accent was ok for such a particular sounding accent and I liked the narrators voice. Easy listen while doing chores.

Great book, well written..Loved the narrator

I was pleasantly surprised with this story. I really liked all of the characters in this book. I didn't feel Joss was a drama queen, lots of issues WOW yes, but if she had issues so did Braden, can we say a wee bit over bearing!! That being said I loved them both, how do we know the raction or issues of any peson with great tragedies in their very young lives. All of the characters in this story were great. At first I thought wow soooo much emphasis on sex (now can we also say STEAMY) in their relationship but then I reminded myself about their age and thought way back and said, yup I remember that LOL. I will definately listen to this one again and again. Now about the narration, WOW Paula Costello just became one of my favorites. I hope we hear more from her, she was absolutely great with accents . I am looking forward to the next book Down London Road and really hope Costello is narrator

Amazing narrator brought this story to life!

Where does On Dublin Street rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This was one of the best narrated books that I have listened to.

What about Paula Costello’s performance did you like?

Paula was fabulous!! I had no idea she was going to be speaking in a Scottish accent and I was blown away! It truly felt as though there was more than one person narrating. She gave such life to each and ever character and she did it amazingly!

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I cried through the last couple of chapters!! i couldn't help myself!

Any additional comments?

This book is one of my favorites. I read it a couple of years ago and loved it. To be honest, I may have enjoyed it more now! I only listen to books I've previously read. Not sure why, I just do.
Paula narrated this book beautifully. She brought these characters to life with her different accents. I fell in love all over again. I have stopped speaking to my family in a Scottish accent in days!!!

This story encompasses everything I want in a book. It was funny, unbelievably sexy, emotional and brilliant.

It Builds Momentum

What made the experience of listening to On Dublin Street the most enjoyable?

At first I thought I had wasted a credit, but since I was stuck in my car with no other good entertainment alternative I let it go on, and I am sure glad I did. It built wonderful momentum and the story was delightful. The author had new twists throughout the story culminating in an ending I greatly enjoyed. I was sad to see this book end. Sequel?

What about Paula Costello’s performance did you like?

Her Scottish accent was unbelievable She captured the tone of all the characters brilliantly.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

The profanity in the beginning was a shock. By the second half of the book I was so engaged with the characters some scenes brought tears to my eyes. Opportunities to laugh exist throughout the book.
