Every time she closes her eyes, Delaney Randall suffers another nightmare. A brutal serial killer has found his way inside the tough, take-no-prisoners FBI agent's head. Now she lives the murders through his eyes, from his deadly approach to his victims' screams - until the night he breaks into her apartment and she fears she's going to be the next to die. But the man who snatches Delaney from her home isn't the murderer. He's Tighe, a dangerous Feral Warrior who needs her and her visions to stop the rampages of a creature as inhuman as he is evil. Tighe has little use for humans, but as he and Delaney join forces to track the dark fiend, he falls for the intense beauty and becomes wild with an obsession as untamed as his heart.

A reader lives a thousand lives before he dies… The man who never reads lives only one. ~George R.R. Martin
I really like that each of these books focus on a different warrior. That being said, if you have not read Desire Untamed, you will have a hard time following this book. So much happens in the first book that you really need to understand the world that Pamela Palmer has created before diving into this one. While I thought the first book in the series was good, I found this one amazing. I'm not sure if it's because I know more about the Feral Warriors world or if it's simply because I adore Tighe; he is by far my favorite character and OMG look at that cover! Looking forward for the next book, Passion Untamed, so I'm forced to wait. I highly recommend this book to anyone interested in paranormal romance and/or about shape-shifters. Pamela Palmer has created a very interesting world and I can't get enough
Rob Shapiro, did a great job in narrated this book:)
Yes, I really liked it. The characters fantasy wonderful. Big and Beautiful.
The battle for Ty's soul.
Yes, and he is wonderful. Good listening.
Not usually in to the Si FI but Ive listen to the first to books in the series and I want more. Going for book # 3 next.
I love losing myself in books of any kind
Not too bad, like the storyline not sure how I feel about the characters .. Most times it is easy to tell the good from the bad. These don't seem to have much respect humans though their purpose is to protect mankind .. Eah... Not making much sense there, though again not a bad story.
When Tiger revealed that he had a daughter and how he find out about his gift and the way his wife reacted I cry I wanted to be there to hold him. And since Lion is such a great tracker why wasn't he out there looking for D and Viper!! Overall I enjoy it and can't wait to read the other think that one will

Tighe and Delaney's story is full of the action and the angst we have come to expect from Palmer. Their characters were more highly developed than Lion and Kara in book one, and their back stories were so tragic, one could not help but feel invested emotionally in them. A few areas had me scratching my head, when obvious solutions were not utilized and other obvious traps were fallen into by characters who legitimately should have known better. Although those flaws weaken the reliability of the characters, it was impossible not to fall for Tighe and Delaney in no small part due to the excellence of the narrator; he breathed life, pathos, and heart into all of the characters. I'll be listening to the next book in the series, Passion Untamed, shortly.
I have less than an hour left into this book and felt compelled to write my review now. Ms. Palmer thank you for giving us this fantastical tale of the Feral warriors. Mr. Shapiro thank you for bringing the characters to life and making me want to know them more. Like each of us, the characters in these books are fragile and flawed (though one would not think that with their rough, strong, immortal bodies). As one who believes in the power of love, friendship, faith and promise this specific story touched my heart deeply. Delaney (the human woman) suffered her own pain and heartache and to compensate she lost her self in her work to the exclusion of any real relationship. Tighe (the Feral warrior who shapes into a Tiger) suffered his own deep loss centuries ago (I won't spoil the story with details) and he trusts very few. How they find each other and learn one another is very well done and to some degree, somewhat believable (perhaps that's just my wishful thinking). I love how every character in these stories are basically strong and determined, and yet so very fragile. But to be able to face the fear and open oneself up to trust can and will unleash some very powerful emotions not to mention some great fight and love scenes. I believe I know how this story will end, but I still want to see it all the way to the end. Needless to say, I'm ready for the next story and I think that one's going to be about BP!
I love being swept away by a new romance and thankfully Audible's ever growing Library means I get to indulge myself over and over again
This has been in my Library for quite a while now and I always just seemed to skim past it...... well stupid stupid me because I've be missing out on one hell of an exciting listen. It's got a great but tortured romance, passion, sex, nine sexy Immortal Shape-shifters, strong yet damaged H/H, a great supporting cast of secondary Warriors whose close bonds and friendships are touching and a 'race against time' nail-biting storyline that's both action packed and tense with a few twists thrown in too.
This series should be listened to in order as this is a continuation of events that took place in book 1. Rob Shapiro's voice was just perfect for all the Alpha Feral Warriors and I hope he continues to narrate these books.
Worth a credit? If, like me, you like an exciting story about Shape-shifting Feral Warriors and their fight to protect their race and Earth against Mages, magic, Demons, evil Clones and Witches all whilst managing to fall in love, then this book is for you too. Took me a little while to get into the story but when I did the hours just flew by so another credit-worthy listen.
