This series is intended for a mature audience. Recommended for ages 17 and older due to sexual situations and adult themes.

If I were to use the movie rating system, I would rate this series an R.

Starting to stray from good ploy to sappy relationships

Okay...we I am still wondering how the story will end but losing interest in the storyline....
It is VERY unrealistic to think about sex in the middle of a major crisis.. I thought the story was about saving humanity and turned into trying to lose ones virginity ....in the middle possible Armageddon
Not to mention...., these fallen Angels don't seem to be crucial to the story nor have they learned their lesson from their Father as they are putting their own desires over saving the world. Who the heck cares if one has a girlfriend if the world is ending shortly

Leaves you wanting more ACTUAL story

Just too much sex, there it is I said it.
Wish we had more background story and more time with all the vessels than freaking Jess and mason getting “matches” ***BIG EYE-ROLL***

Twilight with Angels

Fantastic concept ruined by a twilight style romance. Silly, sappy prose that drags on forever. Fantastic Narrator. Do not recommend.

Too much Sex...Not enough story

I have throughly enjoyed this series, however, this book turns away from the great storytelling to focus on sex and sexual acts. I certainly hope the next story gains back its grasp on actual story telling.

the only thing that bugs me is the repetitiveness of the Jess/Mason side (love) story. like really. we get it. they’re in looove. i just skip thru those annoying parts. maybe im just jealous that ill never have that kind of love myself? boo. hoo. ;)

A bit sappy

This was a good story. I’m not sure why suddenly it’s turned into a romance novel. I don’t mind a few romance/sex scenes here and there but it’s like the author was trying to turn one book into two by just adding random romance scenes. It really distracts from the main story.

Love it

This Story is well constructed. I love the characters.

I can’t remember any corse language. There is violence, but doesn’t go into gory details. The story does touch on molestation.

Narrator Brittany Pressley brings the characters alive with their own individual unique voice. And I really enjoy her telling the story. Speed is set at 1.4 x

Real enjoying this series.

Waste of time

There is a great plot hidden in these poorly wrote books, but you need patience to find it under all the awkward sex scenes. Poorly developed support characters are sprinkled throughout. I wish they could have reached their full potential.

The main character Jess seems to fluctuate between two actual people. Example, it's brought up how she is stubborn, a few times even, but she's the opposite of stubborn. She constantly bends to everyone else. How is that stubborn?

Don't waste your time on these.

Listened to the entire Watcher Chronicle series

I really enjoyed the Watcher Chronicle series, and listened to all of the books, back to back. This review is a reflection of all of the books. The story was very exciting and engaging throughout, with great character development. If I had one criticism it would be that too much time and detail was spent on the romantic relationship of Jess Riley and Mason in books 3 and 4. It was repetitive and at times gratuitous. However I would still highly recommend this series.
