He may not be a cowboy...but that won't stop him from wrangling her heart.
Chase O'Donnell is the proud new owner of the Caldwell Ranch - or maybe he's not so proud. Annoyed would be more like it. After receiving the news of his inheritance, Chase's first thought is to sell the ranch and be done with it - until one night with a beautiful blonde at a local honky-tonk has him changing his tune....
Norah McKade is surprised by her instant attraction to the handsome new stranger and even more surprised when she finds out he's her new neighbor. But with Chase being in town for only a short amount of time, Norah determines getting tangled up with him a bad idea and promptly places Chase in the friend zone.
Although a bit reluctant, Chase agrees to Norah's terms - but he's not about to deny or ignore the fact that there's more between them than just sexual attraction. He'll have to pull out all the stops to get her to change her mind and prove to her that it wouldn't be such a bad thing for her to fall in love with him.

---I was given a copy of this audiobook in exchange for an honest review.
This was my second Kimberly Lewis book. When I was given this one, I decided to start by listening to the first in the series "Zane". Loved it, so was happy to continue and thought "Norah" was even better. We get to meet Norah in the first book, the sister in the McCade family. Norah meets her love interest Chase when she slips in a puddle of beer, and a mug from her tray hits him, what a great first impression. From there it is true love. I enjoyed getting to know Norah better. She is a strong willed, opinionated women, not afraid of a hard day's work and is comfortable in her own skin. Chase is a warm and loving man, expressing his dream of running a ranch, but will he leave his hard headed father's architect firm for country life? Through bumps and bruises, we enjoy their relationship. We get to see Zane, Andi and Luke again and some good interactions with Chase's family. I love series that integrate the characters from book to book, it makes you really feel like you know them.
Tiffany Williams is the narrator. She has a warm, rich voice which I found very pleasing. She is able to differentiate the characters so they are easily identifiable and made the story very enjoyable.
This is the second book in The McKades of Texas series by Kimberly Lewis and narrated Tiffany Williams. Chase O’Donnell has just inherited the Caldwell Ranch, while out one night at the local bar he meets Norah McKade. He tells Norah that he is not going to stay in town long, but the more time they spend together, he starts thinking it might be worth it to stay. This book is so much fun and such great characters.
The narrator Tiffany Williams, did a great job, and was very easy to listen too. This is the first time I have listened to this narrator, and I am looking forward to listening to more books by her. She did a great job with the different characters and their voices.
If you are looking for a great romance with humor, then you need to get this book!

I love this story, it was sweet and heartwarming. I always love a book that can draw me in without being over the top with drama, Norah did just that.
Norah is a simple country girl who works hard and loves her family and friends but lacks that one special person in her life. Meanwhile, Chase is dealing with the inheritance of a new farm, conveniently located close to the McKade's, and a struggling relationship with his father. He too is feeling that something is lacking. Once Chase and Norah meet, the attraction begins but the truth that Chase won't be around for long hangs over their heads. Norah struggles with some issues from her past, her over-protective brothers and the idea of possibly losing Chase while Chase works through what he really wants out of life. This story flows nicely, kept my attention, and had me routing for both Norah and Chase the whole time. I loved that the author could do this without any crazy, over the top dramatics or craziness. Overall, an amazing story that I would highly recommend.
The narration was great as well, the flow of the story never faltered and was never distracting which allowed much better enjoyment of the story!
My name is Anna and I am from Greece. I am mostly a super crazy Editor, a completely crazy mum of two and of course I LOVE AUDIOBOOKS!!!
Top 20 for sure! Tiffany Williams is awesome and I really loved her performance very much. Can't wait to listen to another one of her performances.
I liked everything about this book, although it seemed as simple love story, the plot was very good and interesting.
At the end of the book when she goes to his house to sort things out and find him almost burning the kitchen, trying to prepare her favorite dinner, the anticipation and the forgiveness. Also another favorite was when he finds the beloved pony of his childhood dead and all the feelings coming around it.
Ranch hot romance!

Thank you very much Kimberly Lewis and of course Tiffany Williams for this book.
Once I got into this story, I really enjoyed this audiobook. I have to admit that it took me a little while to really warm up to the overall story but once the romance picked up I found it to be quite enjoyable.
I really liked the characters in this book. Norah takes her responsibilities seriously and has no trouble telling others what she thinks. Even though her brothers are always trying to take care of her, Norah is more than able to take care of herself. I found Chase to be the most interesting character in the story. He has just inherited his uncle's ranch and isn't really sure why his uncle decided to leave it to him. Chase lives in the city and makes a living as an architect and he hasn't even visited the ranch in years. I loved the chemistry between Chase and Norah and the two of them as a couple just made sense.
There were really no big surprises in this book but I couldn't wait to see how everything played out. There were a few moments in the story that I felt too many details were given and I have to admit it drove me a little crazy. I remember one scene when potholders were described. I wanted to yell at the book that I didn't care about the potholders...move on to the story. (The potholders were crocheted in case anyone was wondering). Most of these issues were at the beginning of the story and the focus switched to the romance once that started to blossom.
I liked the narrator and thought that she brought a lot to the story. I had no trouble discerning who the speaker was at any time in the book. I also found that the way this story was read really helped me to focus on what was going on. I would definitely pick up another audiobook narrated by Tiffany Williams.
I would recommend this story to others. I found it to be a really sweet romance that kept my interest. This is the first book by Kimberly Lewis that I have had a chance to read but I am now really curious about Zane story so I may check that one out soon.
I received a gifted copy of this audiobook from the author for the purpose of providing an honest review.
Romance, friendship and determination
Norah is a well developed and stand out character. She is someone that you could be friends with. Norah is not some shy, reserved heroine waiting to be rescued. She stands on her own 2 feet.
Ms. Williams has a way of bringing out the emotions of the characters. You can feel the tension and the pain when Norah and Chase are at odds. Ms. Williams has you wanting more.
After their big confrontation, Norah and Chase have some soul searching to do. I was drawn into the emotion and couldn't wait to see how it was resolved.
Norah is the second in the McKades of Texas series. As I had not read the first, I was worried that I would be lost re: characters and incidents from the first book. Fear not, this is a book you can listen to as a stand alone. That being said, I want to go back and listen to book 1 to follow the story completely. Ms. Lewis has written a story with fully developed characters and while there may be some predictable/cliche moments, the story flows nicely and you find that 8 1/2 hours have flown by.
I would recommend this book to anyone who likes a good romance. It does get a little steamy at parts so I would recommend this to ages 17+.
There wasn't a lot of drama and although there was a lot of reference to their time in bed, there wasn't a ton of detail. I will say that Chase was maybe a little too nice for me. I know that sounds strange but seriously, there was nothing wrong with the man. I do like a more edgy hero, but it worked with this story and I can't say that Norah would have done well with an alpha male.
I think all audio books are better than print. To me the audio adds the final touches from the authors perspective, the voice behind the character along with the feeling and emotions.
I don't feel it is fair to the Author or the Narrator to compare there work to others.
I have not listened to Tiffany before, but I sure will again. I thought she did an amazing job with both the male and female rolls. But i do have to say I LOVED her as a child, it just made me want more.
This book is about a business man from the city that gets stuck with a ranch he did not want. After meeting Norah things start to change, and he finds himself wanting things he never thought he wanted. This is a very sweet city boy turned cowboy romance.
I liked this book so much that it is one of my favorites
Norah for sure but they all are great...
Absolutely, I'm going to listen to it again this weekend while going on a road trip... This book is that good!!!
Tiffany Williams did a wonderful job her voice was clear and she didn't speak to fast... I really liked the different voices for each characters and the animation she put into the characters..
I loved Norah in the first book of the series, Zane, and I am so glad she got her HEA! Chase and Norah have great chemistry and the narrator does a great job of conveying their feelings. Both of them have some issues with their fathers that threaten their relationship, and their are some unexpected twists. I loved catching up with Zane and Andie as well as Luke, can't wait for him to meet his match! Overall a cute and sexy read.
