So she sets out to find a special man to father her child, someone without too much gray-matter between his ears: in short, a big, strong dope. Cal Bonner, legendary pro quarterback, seems to fit the bill. But there's something Dr. Jane hasn't counted on: he's no dumb jock. And he's not about to get used and abused by a baby-mad schemer.

"A sensual, heartwarming story." (Library Journal)
I have yet to find a SEP book that I have not enjoyed. I don't care how predictable they are, I still laugh and cry along with the characters. This book was no exception. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy a good old fashioned love story with a little "spice" thrown in for good measure!
I loved this book. It did take me some time to get into it because the lady that reads it is older and I'm like 20, but it is amazing. I love a book that has a man that is take charge, and has love and as always a baby in the making.
I just about didn't buy this book because I thought the summary made it sound hokey, but I really enjoy SEP's writing so I ordered it and very glad I did...now this is one of my favorites from her collection. SEP has entwined her characters from book to book and I have begun to look forward to continuity of these character's lives. Great Job SEP (and Anna Fields)...AGAIN!!!!
I can't say enough about how pleasant this book was to listen to! Classically romantic, modern, and appealing to all senses.
This is one of my favorite SEP books .. I love the bantering between the nerdy professor and the jock. The scene with the lucky charm marshmallows just cracks me up.
I love every book that this author writes and the narrator is the very best I have ever heard. Great story with wonderful characters fully developed. Had me laughing out loud at times. Wonderful ending.
