I really enjoyed the writing in this book; the characters are well developed and interesting. And there is no lack of steamy, hot sex. Josh Goodman did a pretty good job, although sometimes it sounded more like he was reading. But really, I just couldn't get past how it ended. I understand a cliffhanger, but this book just seemed incomplete to me. It's as though a complete book was just broken into a series of short books. I haven't decided yet if I want to spend 2 more credits to finish this series.
Addicted to any type of Romance/Erotica audio books.
This was a re-read for me and I think I liked it even more the second time around!
Clay is a HOT lawyer who just wants honesty and happiness. Julia is Clay's perfect women but she can't give him complete honesty. These two scorched my ears from the night they met and it just got hotter and hotter from there. It doesn't really have a cliffhanger, more just ends at a spot for the story to continue with the 2nd book which I will be starting right now.
I really like the narration, he did a great job but I still would have liked it better with dual narration.
Instead of making the book complete I feel like the author is trying to make more money by not finishing the book and splitting it in two just to make a buck. Good writing has a beginning middle and end. If you can't do than and are only interested in money you are not an author.
No. I like a narrator that tells me a story. This was a reading. Little attempt to make the characters come alive. Not interested in trying another book by this narrator.
I love being swept away by a new romance and thankfully Audible's ever growing Library means I get to indulge myself over and over again
First sight attraction between Julia, a co-owner of a trendy Bar, and the handsome Lawyer called Clay who's been sitting staring at her. There's instant lust followed by off the charts sex as their one night of bliss turned out to be much much more when they are both eager to take it to the next level. But, as expected there's a big and dangerous secret in Julia's life with some criminals and Clay's past scars are going to make it very difficult for their relationship to progress unless she spills.
This is a backwards book..... lots of hot sex straight off, then a period of getting to know each other, followed by the temptation and a hope for more. But before they can move forward there's an unwanted dangerous reality check and a CLIFFHANGER ending. Dual POV's and the narration was good.
Worth a credit? You've got to like a lotta hot sex, a bit of light bondage and some dirty talking in your listen to like this one, and if you do, then I'm sure you'll find it creditworthy.
I got more than what I expected from Night After Night! I expected some hot guy and some hot sex, but I got all that and a fabulous suspenseful plot! Clay and Julia have blazing hot chemistry; but Julia's has some secrets that may blow this thing up. The story is continuing in After the Night, and it's worth picking up.
**Gifted a copy in exchange for an honest review**
I read a lot of erotica/romance but I really like the build up/anticipation of a relationship so that you're on the edge, practically BEGGING for the characters to come together and when they do it's colossal.
This book felt very amateur to me. The writing was very bland and all phrases I've heard before but not in near the write detail or coloring of a picture. The relationship was kind of, blah, to me as well. Like two people who kept giving each other a booty call from farther away than most would go but they still did it.
The sex parts are hot, and it's a nice listen before bed to get me in the mood but it doesn't charge up my insides like a lot of other authors so I wouldn't continue with anything else in this series or by this author personally.
that julia is no pushover she fights for what she wants
none other really
no this my first
yes when Clay walked away
loved it please please please bring the rest to audiobook
