WITH THIS RING, I THEE DEAD.
Just as Jane Jameson’s unlife seems to be stabilizing, fate sinks its fangs firmly into her butt. Despite her near-phobia of wedding planning, her no-frills nighttime nuptials to her sexy boyfriend, Gabriel, are coming along smoothly. That is, until she turns a fatally wounded teenage acquaintance, and the Council pronounces her responsible for the newborn vamp until he can control his thirst.
Jane’s kitchen barely holds enough Faux Type O to satiate the cute teen’s appetite and maintain Gabriel’s jealous streak at a slow simmer. As if keeping her hyperactive childe from sucking the blood out of the entire neighborhood isn’t enough to deal with, the persnickety ghost of Jane’s newly deceased grandma Ruthie has declared war on the fanged residents of River Oaks. Suddenly, choosing monogrammed cocktail napkins and a cake she can’t even eat seem downright relaxing in comparison.
Tensions inside the house are growing… and outside, a sinister force is aiming a stake straight for the center of Gabriel’s heart. Most brides just have to worry about choosing the right dress, but Jane fears that, at this rate, she’ll never make it down the aisle for the wedding all nice girls dream of.

I'm a DJ who travels a lot and listen to books while I drive 4 hours in each direction weekly. I've been an avid reader since the age of 5!
I had listened to all the other books, thought I would complete the set
Yes.. her books are fun to listen to when I'm on the road.
Ms Harper always writes a great and funny story. I laugh out loud at her clever riposts. I have never "heard" a better writer. I even have listened to her books through a second time as i have enjoyed them so much. Amanda Ronconi is the voice of her books and she does it beautifully. I look forward to her next and then the next. I am a fan, thank you both for you hard work and enjoyable stories and narrative.
So good! So fun! Love the new characters. Love the old characters even more. As usual, I can't wait for the next one. And, the narrator did an excellent job as usual. I hope Amanda Ronconi continues to Molly's books. She is perfect for the role.
This series is so much FUN! I was laughing all the way through it!
Amanda's performance is great! I liked her so much that I did a search and downloaded other titles that she has performed. She is one of my favorite readers.
I so enjoy this duo, Molly Harper has an humorous style and a flair for one liners I have yet to read from any one else and Amanda Ronconi's delivery is fantastic.
It's hard to rank it that way. I enjoy so many kinds of books.
The humor as well as the story line of the book. I have loved this series of her books as well as the werewolf two books. I hope she writes more of these.
Books have replaced TV in my life.
Jane as a bride - then Jane in parenting mode brought on by a teenage vampire.
This question always stumps me....
Amanda knows how to bring all the emotions to the story with each character - it is like watching a movie in my head.
Yes - though hard to do while at work - so I did have to break it up to before work and after. My family didn't get to speak to me much.
This is an an easy listen. I probably did not enjoy this one as much. Not as much super natural mixed with comedy. I do hope there is another. This one left me hanging. But like i said I do enjoy the series.
Amanda Ronconi does a great job in each of the Molly Harper books I've listened to - she's a great performer.
I love, love, love this series. Jane is such a smart, witty main character and she makes me laugh out loud.
The world of Jane is expanded. Previously minor characters are brought to the forefront and more about the supernatural is revealed, but Jane's wit and humor and unique take on life remain the same. A must-read for anyone who likes the series.
