WITH THIS RING, I THEE DEAD.
Just as Jane Jameson’s unlife seems to be stabilizing, fate sinks its fangs firmly into her butt. Despite her near-phobia of wedding planning, her no-frills nighttime nuptials to her sexy boyfriend, Gabriel, are coming along smoothly. That is, until she turns a fatally wounded teenage acquaintance, and the Council pronounces her responsible for the newborn vamp until he can control his thirst.
Jane’s kitchen barely holds enough Faux Type O to satiate the cute teen’s appetite and maintain Gabriel’s jealous streak at a slow simmer. As if keeping her hyperactive childe from sucking the blood out of the entire neighborhood isn’t enough to deal with, the persnickety ghost of Jane’s newly deceased grandma Ruthie has declared war on the fanged residents of River Oaks. Suddenly, choosing monogrammed cocktail napkins and a cake she can’t even eat seem downright relaxing in comparison.
Tensions inside the house are growing… and outside, a sinister force is aiming a stake straight for the center of Gabriel’s heart. Most brides just have to worry about choosing the right dress, but Jane fears that, at this rate, she’ll never make it down the aisle for the wedding all nice girls dream of.

I laughed and laughed through most of this book. Molly Harper is great for keeping the humour coming. There are some serious and some sad parts too. My guide for a good book is this--- Did it make me laugh? yes Did it make my cry? yes Did it keep me interested and wanting to keep listening? yes Did it keep me up at night wanting to finish? yes
A good book takes you through the full range of emotions.
The narrator did her usual awesome job!!
I will not give anything away but it really helps keep the series going.
Nice continuation of the story line from the original trilogy. If you haven't read the previous 3 books you won't be lost but obviously wont have the entire back story. The story is adequately paced and well written, great character voicing and a pretty decent ending too.
Yes. I would recommend all of Molly Harper's series about Jane. This book brings all the players together in a funny way.
Jane is the best character. I like Jane because she is always in trouble and tries very hard to protect others from her problems, so that they will not get hurt or involved in her mess. Jane is always so funny in her ways of solving the problems, which makes her stories the best.
The scene I liked was when Jane's mother goes to get the wedding dress and discovers that the Grandmother has cut it to shreds and Jane goes off and decides thst Grandma has to go.
Ms. Ronconi can deliver the sarcasm with the best of them.
The story itself is not real deep, but I love the quick wit andit keeps me smiling. I listen on my iphone with my Audible App and will laugh out loud and everyone turns to look at me. Keep'em coming Ms. Harper.
Wonderfully entertaining book!
Laughed out loud! several times!!!
I laughed out loud so often, I had to quit listening at work! Loved the book!
It's exactly what I expected from Molly Harper.
Yes. Amanda Ronconi is an excellent reader. I love listening to her read.
I found myself bursting out in laughter
Laugh says it all. If you want light reading that is funny, this is spot on. The nice thing about Molly's books is that you can pick one up without having read the previous books and not miss a beat. Amanda, as always is great at the reader. She has that sarcasm in her voice that fits the character to a tee.
Buy it. You'll love it.
The wedding drama. Loved Jane hiring a wedding planner with her mother in the mix. Great stuff!
Yes. Everyone needs a laugh or something relaxing and entertaining to listen to every now and then.
The way she does Grandma Ruthie's voice is to funny.
In the beginning yes. Laugh
The plots in this series always start out great but towards the end it becomes weak. The main characters are so well written that you get really into them - but the last two chapters unravels and I think
I always enjoy downloading Molly Harper's books. Molly Harper's story and Amanda Ronconi's narration makes the perfect combination. I laughed through most of the book. I love the main character, Jane. Her sarcasm is funny not caustic and her character is loveable.
If you want to laugh, download this book and enjoy.
