How did I get here? Oh, right - Daniel "Dust" Grayson. Scariest, sexiest man alive. The only man who's ever stolen my panties, lured me into his bed, and left me begging for more. This isn't what you're thinking. Yes, he's an outlaw. But I'm not in a world of hurt because he's president of the Deadly Pistols MC or because my big brother is his right-hand man. No, Dust tried to save me from myself. I can't let my secrets kill him. It's time to forget everything: his love, his kisses, raising the baby he'll never know together. Never wed an outlaw. A broken heart was my wedding present, and now it's my only defense
Hannah was my biggest mistake. Ain't every day a man claims a girl, shoves his ring on her finger, and tells her she's his 'til the end of time. I had it all, blind to the storm approaching. Then she disappeared. She forgot about us.
I'll die before I let her. Don't care if my best friend is her kin and he wants to rip my head off. Don't care if she's a hostage to the meanest crew I ever laid eyes on. Don't care if I have to move heaven, hell, and everything in between to bring her home.

Dusty's an older alpha bad boy, born and breed to be the next "Prez" in the Deadly Pistols MC. Hannah is Firefly's little sister and should be off limits; however, Dusty and Hannah have a lot of attraction and chemistry between them. They've flirted, teased but never really thought about having a real relationship together, after all she's younger and a brother's little sister.
Hannah's been keeping a secrete from everyone. She's afraid if they find out, they'll want to step in and take on a threat bigger than the MC could handle. She doesn't want anyone to get hurt or possibly killed for her mistake. She's borrowed money from the mafia and they have no issues exploiting it or threating her if she does not continue to helping them until the debt is paid.
The story goes back and forth from the past and present and fills in gaps and gives a different perspective of earlier stories. When Hannah's been kidnapped, Dusty and the MC will go in guns ablazen to get his women and the baby he didn't know he had back.
I enjoyed the angst, drama, and the different perspective you get from seeing Dusty and Hannah's story unfolding. I didn't really care for the "Prez" from earlier stories but Nicole did a great job turning his character around. Firefly's reaction to his little sister's relationship with Dusty was understandable but also comical. Lastly, all the little details Nicole included like the reference to Prince Silas or romance novels was a nice touch as well.
The narration was great! Aiden has an amazing voice perfect for MC romances or really any romance story. Shawnee's acting talent shined through, she really delivered on all the emotions especially the angst.
While this wasn't my favorite in the series, I had no qualms using my precious credit to buy the audio. For any MC/Deadly Pistols fan, this story is well worth a credit! Looking forward to see what Nicole brings to audio next.
Struggled to finish it. The narrator for Hannah was not good. I like the previous books of thw Deadly Pistols MC but this one was the worst.
I really liked how this series started out but, in the last two books, it's really gone downhill. First of all, they should have kept the original narrators. The new female narrator sounds ridiculous. Her voice inflection makes me want to cringe. And the storylines are getting ridiculous, too. The last three bikers have all three found women, in their 20s that are still Virgins? Seriously? And all three magically become pregnant because of failed birth control or whatever. I like all the biker characters and I want them all to get their HEA but, I don't know if I can stomach this narrator and the plot pattern through another book. Truly disappointing.
