Zane’s legion of fans can’t get enough of her way of telling a juicy, sexy story. In Nervous, the New York Times best-selling queen of erotica brings us a tale of a woman with a split personality.
Jonquinette has always been nervous around men, but on the weekends her alter ego, Jude, goes on intense sexual escapades. When Jonquinette seeks the help of Dr. Marcella Spencer, the psychiatrist Zane originated in her best-selling novel Addicted, Jude’s response is to go on a sexual rampage. Meanwhile, Jonquinette becomes interested in her new neighbor, Mason, but Jude has no intention of letting Jonquinette fall in love—not when Jude’s having so much fun. Based on a short story of the same title from her best-selling collection The Sex Chronicles, Nervous is classic Zane with an edge. So relax, sit back. You’re in for a nerve-tingling read.

Zane is very well known for her sexy novels. But underneath them all are deep, moving stories with very well-rounded characters.
If you are easily offended, then books by Zane are not for you. But, if you don't mind a good story with really good sex thrown in, then these are books for you. "Addicted" and "Nervous" (the sequel to "Addicted") were awesome. I highly recommend them both.
Awesome narration by Nicole Small. I will seek out other audiobooks with her as narrator.
I like reading. ☺
Writing was really basic. Like a lot of cliche dialogue. Mason was too perfect, and Joan was actually really annoying. But I still enjoyed it for its plot. I finished it in a day even though I got annoyed a lot towards the end. I skipped the whole date scene lol
It's a good thing Nicole Small was the narrator because if I had to read this on my own, I would have never made it to the end. I think in parts this book dragged on. Many times Jude's escapades were just plain stupid. She claims to protect, however in my opinion she did more to hurt. Honestly, I was just expecting more from this book. After Addicted, this one is a true let down.
Not really sure due to the story was some what predictable.
To friends who are into emotional excitment.
Hard to say she was so inticing with all of the characters
Although the book had its predictable moments it still was an indepth story.
HATE spoilers! Enjoy HOT, sexy books. No vampires, paranormal, teens 4 me. Running out this type Audible-so on2 lighter romance/mystery :-(
no, I won't listen again or try another from this author
Nope, I like erotica but this was just nasty.
No-1st time tempted to not finish
I like Megan Hart, Maya Banks, Loreigh Lee, etc. ALL good erotic authors..."Zane" was more like what I'd expect poorly written porn to be..
No, I don't think you can replace how u interpert it in your mind for how someone else makes it sound.
I cant wait to see the movie since they are making it into a movie starring Boris Kodjoe. I would title it Green Pastures.
One of Zane's best books!
I love stories that are so different then my everyday world... It's makes the day go my faster at work.
I loved it great story line and Zane did a great job
Not sure I love all Zane books because she is honest and real about her work..
She actually made me search her name for other books...she did an amazing job.
Not sure because they might take the good parts out..
