Zane’s legion of fans can’t get enough of her way of telling a juicy, sexy story. In Nervous, the New York Times best-selling queen of erotica brings us a tale of a woman with a split personality.
Jonquinette has always been nervous around men, but on the weekends her alter ego, Jude, goes on intense sexual escapades. When Jonquinette seeks the help of Dr. Marcella Spencer, the psychiatrist Zane originated in her best-selling novel Addicted, Jude’s response is to go on a sexual rampage. Meanwhile, Jonquinette becomes interested in her new neighbor, Mason, but Jude has no intention of letting Jonquinette fall in love—not when Jude’s having so much fun. Based on a short story of the same title from her best-selling collection The Sex Chronicles, Nervous is classic Zane with an edge. So relax, sit back. You’re in for a nerve-tingling read.

Zane is very well known for her sexy novels. But underneath them all are deep, moving stories with very well-rounded characters.
If you are easily offended, then books by Zane are not for you. But, if you don't mind a good story with really good sex thrown in, then these are books for you. "Addicted" and "Nervous" (the sequel to "Addicted") were awesome. I highly recommend them both.
Awesome narration by Nicole Small. I will seek out other audiobooks with her as narrator.
This was one of those books that now that I've finished the book - I wouldn't be upset if I had chosen another. It was
Recommendations to friends would depend on the friend. I hav e some who would like this book - and some who would not.
Had additional narrators to play the parts of Jude/Jetta
More detail about the romance/realationship
Nervous was interesting, I found myself wanting to know what would happen next, especially when Jude surfaced. I thought at some point some of the men Jude slept with would confront Joanquenette, but it never happened. I think shortly after she started seeing the therapist I wondered if her father had molested her, because Jude seemed to hate him. So when it turned out he had I wasn't surprised.
I loved it. The twists, turns and seductions took me by surprise. The reader was excellent at converting the mood or attitude through her various voices and inflections. Great tale.
