Publisher's Summary

Dean Robillard is the Chicago Stars' hotshot quarterback. Not only does he have lightening reflexes on the field, he is also utterly gorgeous. First introduced in the critically acclaimed Match Me If You Can, Dean is trying to recover (both mentally and physically) from a shoulder injury by taking a road trip. Along the way, he meets Blue, a beautiful woman down on her luck, and as they spend more time together their attraction grows. Blue has had a string of bad relationships and doesn't want to trust Dean right away. But they wind up living together, along with Dean's troubled half-sister, and learn that families and luck work in mysterious ways.

This is a hilarious new novel by New York Times best-selling author Susan Elizabeth Phillips.

What the Critics Say

  • Audie Award Winner, Romance, 2008

"Generously seasoned with plenty of tart humor and snappy dialogue, and graced with a delightfully amusing pair of protagonists trying desperately not to fall in love, Natural Born Charmer is simply irresistible." (Booklist)

    "Read after Match Me"

This book uses characters first introduced in Match Me If You Can. It is more of a spin off than a continuation. It is a delightful book full of rich characters and worth the read. Anna Fields is a great narrator. Her voices give you the flavor of the character.

    "Natural Born Charmer"

This was one os ther best books I have ever listed to (I am now up to 218 books). It is so well written, and the characters are so true to life that you feel like you know them. The book is witty and keeps you captivated to the very end. I wanted the book to go on and on and not end. I am now downloading the rest of her books and can not wait to start another one.

    "Avoid this one"

A predictable plot, cardboard characters, and a narrator who makes the story sag and drag. Her voice changes for male characters make them sound brainless.

    "Adorable, Funny Page Turner"

I loved it. It was hilarious. I couldn't stop listening. Of course the story was unrealistic, a soap opera with a happy ending. Nevertheless, it gave me a happy, warm feeling and I was sorry that it came to an end, so much so that I listened to the ending twice!

    "Love and Laughter"

I've enjoyed all of Ms Phillips books in print and audio. This one didn't let me down. As always, humor, love, and wonderful characters make this a wonderful listen. This Heart of Mine and Match Me If you Can are prequels to this but you could listen to this one alone. But why would you. They are all funny and will have you sighing and laughing. Betcha can't stop with just one.

"The cherry on the Banana Split"

Susan Elizabeth Phillips made this book the cherry on top of her big banana split collection of books. It's fantastic. Amusing, funny, heartbreakingly emotional. I absolutely loved it as I do with all her books.
