Delightfully Funny

I love how Susan Elizabeth Phillips spins out a tale. She adds just about the right amount of humor, heartache, romance and realism to draw you in. I am looking forward to the next book.

The characters are engaging and entertaining. Despite how different they are and the different paths their lives have taken them on, they remain true to themselves. The reading by the amazing Anna Fields (gone too soon) is unforgettable!

Who was your favorite character and why?

Many favorites in this book~ This is not a book with only one or maybe two strong or interesting characters. This book is filled with interesting characters, each one with their own quirks and points of interest.

What does Anna Fields bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Each characters character, if you will, is unique and very expressive. I think Blue is my favorite, because of the personality brought to life by Anna Fields narration.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes and no.... It is one I have listened to over and over. I really enjoy savoring this one!

BEST OF THE BEST

Funny with lovable characters, Susan Phillips held me spellbound. She manages to put heat in a romance without making it the selling point over the real goal... romance.

One of my favorite Susan Elizabeth Phillips romance books. Charming, smart, funny and romantic, and with Anna Fields' narrative talent it's brought the story to life.

Best narrator ever!!!

This book is good, but the Narrator makes it even better!!! You truly feel as if you’re a fly on the wall!

There were several that made me laugh out loud!

Which character – as performed by Anna Fields – was your favorite?

I liked all of them! She did a believable job as an 11 year old girl, a gravelly rock star and a grumpy old lady and all the ones in between!

Any additional comments?

I had a long drive all by myself and this book was just the ticket! Funny, with interesting characters and exactly the right length to get me all the way home! Susan Phillips has a great way with just enough humor to put you right into the story without being cheesy!

I love all of the books in this series, but this one is my favorite! I loved the story, the characters, and the humor. Really enjoyed!!!

My favorite thing about Susan Elizabeth Phillips is her character development. The people in her stories have history and vulnerability, which make them worth getting to know.

Very Entertaining

If you liked Match Me If You Can by Susan Elizabeth Phillips, you'll love Natural Born Charmer! The characters were believable and down-to-earth, and the intertwining storylines kept me entertained. It was a quick listen-I just didn't want to turn it off! Very good narration and very good author. I thought this book was superb and would love to have a sequel to follow up on the lives of the characters!
