Publisher's summary

No strings. No regrets. And no going back....

"I didn't think he wanted me. And I wasn't about to get involved with him, not after what I'd heard. Sure, Alex Kennedy was tall, dark, and unbearably hot, but I've been burned before. When I solicited him to model for my erotic photography book, I didn't expect such a heated, passionate photo session. And now that we've crossed that line, our bodies aren't the only things that have been exposed.

But I can't give my heart to a man who's so...unconventional. His last sexual relationship was with a married couple. It's enough that my ex-fiancee preferred men; I can't take that chance again, no matter how much my body thrives on Alex's touch. I can't risk it, but I can't resist it, either.

"Alex can be very convincing when he wants something. And he wants me."

Didn't Want It to End

Where does Naked rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I've only listened to two thus far, but it's a strong one that is going to take a lot to beat.

What other book might you compare Naked to and why?

I don't have one, because it so unlike any other book that I have read or heard.

Have you listened to any of Lauren Fortgang’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I have not, but her performance was so good that I would specifically seek her out.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I laughed. I smiled. I gasped. I did it all.

Any additional comments?

It was a great story with a great performance that really brought life to the characters.

Didn't like Olivia.

Ok, I had issuses with this book. The main character is Olivia, she's, I think half wht/ half blk. She's adopted and doesn't know that she's black until she's in the 2nd grd. It was never an issue in her home, I can dig it. However, I did not like Olivia. I thought that she was weak and had absolutly no idea of who she was. Lets see if I can explain w/o spoilin the story. Olivia was datin Patrick for 4yrs and they became engaged. They didn't sleep together the whole 4 yrs, and then she finds out that Patricks gay and that he's been sleepin around on her. A cpl of yrs later they become besties. She hangs w/ him, his boyfriend, and all of their friends. She's a Hag. She meets Alex who is also gay, through Patrick and they become close.(I see a pattern, here) Patrick hurt her, and she does whateva he asks her to do, bc she's still in love w/ him. (Yes,weak). She has some issues w/ Alex, but she won't just come out and ask him about them. Things you really need to be askin when ur likin someone. She talks about how she doesn't know who she is or who she's suppose to be. Shouldn't you know at a certain age who you are? This chick is, I think 28 yrs old, but anyways. One of her parents is Jewish and the other Catholic. This was the only time in the book that I felt sorry for her, bc each parent wants her to choose their religion, so she's confused. But this is all JMO.

I am sorry to say

This was boring. I tried to listen to the end. This is the first audio book that I just could not make it to the end of the story. I tried several times to finish it. No. Just not keeping my interest at all. The characters are weak, and uninteresting. What plot? Where?

Don’t get.

Wish I could return it and get my credit back. She normally writes better. Not worth wasting my credit. Very upset.

meh

I soldiered on waiting to the story to go somewhere. it meandered on and on with random side stories (the woman in the dress in her pictures) that didn't add much to the plot. I spent 95 percent of the book being bored and the last 5 percent being angry. the last scene is obnoxious. she flip flops from ending it to saying she trusts him in 30 seconds. the last 5 minutes alone cost this book a star. as I said, still waiting for something compelling that never arrived in this book.

Hated it!

This story was just bad. There were no likable characters. The main character was as far as I could tell, a complete idiot! I kept waiting for the story to get better but it progressively worse.

Not for Traditionalist

I truly dislike when a book is advertised different than it is. I am too traditional for this story. I gave 2 stars because I listened to the end. I found nothing in this book of redeaming value.

Anticlimactic

I didn't like this book because the characters were were. both weak. I can understand why the girl didn't know who she was because I have heard that biracial people often have delt with rejection from both races and so the identity issue is real. The guy should have been open from the beginning instead of being secretive and the girl should have known considering where she met him and just owned up to it instead of wearing blinders. This book was anticlimactic.
