It was good, but mot one of my favorites

Would you try another book from Megan Hart and/or Lauren Fortgang?

I was a little disappointed with the story, so it's probably that I will not buy another book from Megan Hart.

If you’ve listened to books by Megan Hart before, how does this one compare?

The story was different on each one of them but the truth is that I didn't like the end in any of them.

Did Lauren Fortgang do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?

She differentiated the characters by making a voice for each one of them.

Could you see Naked being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?

I imagine that Matt Bomer as Alex, Gabrielle Union as Olivia, Christopher Egan as Patrick, Daryl Sabara as Teddy and Amanda Seyfried

Any additional comments?

I know that we can't influence what a writer's imagination creates, but I love happy endings. Megan Hart's endings leave depressed.

This Was Really Heavy But Shallow at the Same Time

Where does Naked rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

It was really intense and not in a way that will have me reading it again soon (this was my second reading of it. I really like Megan Hart's Dirty, Stranger and The Space Between Us.

Would you recommend Naked to your friends? Why or why not?

Yes to the Megan Hart fan...but be prepared to go to some really deep, uncomfortable places with Olivia - and hardly anywhere with Alex and the other characters. There is really too much material to be adequately explored.

This IS the follow up to Tempted which I did not realize until the end.

Have you listened to any of Lauren Fortgang’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Yes, she also did several in The Kowalski Family Series [Shannon Stacey] and she is a solid, unique performer.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Toward the end I was actually a bit put off by the amount of 'rough' language and how quickly all these complex issues were tied up.

Hot, hot, hot and...

multifaceted. The characters are complex as are the relationships but the choices are honest. As a mixed race reader, I sincerely appreciated Megan Hart's treatment of the female main character. This story will always stay close to my heart.

long-winded and a little disappointing

Would you try another book from Megan Hart and/or Lauren Fortgang?

Probably not unless I got it for free this was the first Hart book that I read. Her writing isn't bad but the story seemed incomplete and rushed in some places.

What was most disappointing about Megan Hart’s story?

The story was long-winded regarding unimportant details and rushed on some important ones.

Not sure. But I so loved this book.

Which character – as performed by Lauren Fortgang – was your favorite?

I thought she did a great job with both Alex'es voice and Olivia's voice.

So loved this book. Olivia was a strong female lead. And Alex was super hot. They were smoking together.

I'm a sucker for a hard beginning and happy ending

Well done! I'm in love with Olivia & Alex now my favorite characters. I still love El & Dann Chad & Luke, so glad they all made a connection. The Author & narrator superb.

Unfinished

I felt like this story never finished, almost like being left as a cliffhanger. The situation between the couple never felt resolved. Sadly though I was not left wanting to hear more. it seems like the whole book I was waiting for something positive and fun, this seems more like a self-discovery book.

One or the Other

First of all I want to say the picture for this book is beautiful, I enjoyed looking at it. I had to go back and listen to tempted then listen to this book again and before I continue I would like to put it out there that I hope Sarah gets her story with updates on Olivia and Alex. The ex boyfriend/ fiance/ Patrick was a douche bag, a selfish self centered douche-bag at that it was almost like he knew they would attract one another or he wanted to tap Alex for himself. I liked how she could look into his face and know if he was open or not or being honest. I could identify with thinking you know someone then realizing there is a side to them you had not seen and how she didn't want to bring up what she knew about him for fear he would be contrary to what he had presented himself to her as which would have crumbled what they had built. I didn't think he should have taken her to the cook out without giving her a heads up. It seemed like Alex with Jamie together made a bad combination for both and I think I would have slapped his ass sober but I felt like he was honest about how he felt for her and what he wanted. He basically gave himself to her when so many others wanted him for one reason or another. It was ironic how their lives as different as they were turned out to have similar circumstances like with Pippa and Kaam and how he says no one can be just one thing or another with him swinging both ways then she basically felt split her whole life, they shared raw truth. I am a new fan of Megan Hart.

I loved it. Different type of story for me but a nice surprise. Great narration.

A surprise ending

this story was about Olivia meeting Alex at her ex Christmas party.
how much I really wanted Alex to find his happy ending and his new beginning with the one person that he could truly love someone who could truly love him no matter what
the book was mostly Olivia's side of the story and it was sweet and sometimes they just wanted to shake her I kind of wish the writer had both their side like one chapter Olivia and then another chapter Alex cuz I really did fall in love and cared about Alex
I did read the first book and then the other book I think it was the audio of Alex side of the story it was heartbreaking cuz he did fall in love with both his best friend and his wife and in the end I think they all were lost and it was nice to know and this audiobook they finally found each other but during these chapters there was some bump in the road for Olivia to really trust herself and to trust Alex and to follow her heart and it was great 👍🏾
