Dark forces and violence enters the European court of the Duke of Nemours in the year of our Lord 1480. The only hope remains in the hands of the Duke's daughter Polyxena - a stunning beauty, coveted by many men.
As the princess bride, she arrives at the castle of the Duke of Lorengard-Lorraine only to find her arranged marriage has been foiled. Duke Arsinio has been murdered in a coup d'état and she is a virtual prisoner of an evil tyrant. A mysterious knight appears to challenge the power of the tyrant and bring hope to the people. The face of this enigmatic warrior is covered by a red mask and the cross on his chest defines him as a Knight Templar.
Will Polyxena achieve freedom and find the love of her life? Is the identity of the Mysterious Templar discovered?

Exciting mysterious entertaining visual
I found the mystery of Arsenio's death intriguing. Why would they not reveal the body? But there were many other exciting moments.
This was my first time hearing Ken Farmer narrate. He has a unique voice quality and in narrating he gives individual voices to the characters. This makes following the story easier and more enjoyable. I will look for more books narrated by Ken.
Beautiful heroine uses all her skills to counter insurmountable odds in the face of treachery and evil.
The story is told with great visual impact and fast action. The story has everything, action, villany, intrigue, love and mystery. Ken Farmer's narration brings all the characters to life with his unique panache and style.
Maybe. It would depend on the kind of books they like.
I didn't have a favorite character. Each one made the story better.
Mr. Farmer makes it more interesting. He does a great job narrating the book.
He tells you more about the story by the way he chooses to make the character sound.
Yes, but I rarely get to listen to a book all in one sitting.
I listen when driving, folding clothes and cooking. That's what I like about audio books. You can take them everywhere you go.
At the top! Very much enjoyed the narration, especially the pacing.
Any highly acclaimed author specializing in historical romance.
A very professional sounding narration that brings the words on the page to life.
It kept me completely engaged throughout.
Adriana is a very talented storyteller who knows how to keep the reader engaged from start to finish. Truly a page turner!
Having read and loved this novel, I was a bit hesitant to try the audiobook. Then I listened and was captivated as I experienced the story in a different manner. I will certainly track my favorite sections to hear then again.
The wonderful blend of romance and history made this well-written and interestingly plotted novel a pleasure. And who could resist the beguiling heroine?
It is difficult to select a favorite because Ken Farmer's masterful performance of all the characters does not make that easy. Truthfully, I can't decide between Polyxena and Duccio because I love them both. I look forward to Ken Farmer's future audios and hope he performs the next books in the Templar Trilogy.
Among the many special moments that affected me,I was very moved by a revelatory scene that would be a spoiler if I described it.
I highly recommend this audiobook which both readers of "The Mysterious Templar" and newcomers will enjoy.
When I listen to an audio, I only listened to it once!
There were lots of beautiful moments of tenderness and lots of adventure!
No, Ken Farmer is new to me! It was good, but needed more intonation!
Awful, awful, awful. After reading the synopsis, I so looked forward to reading about the Night Templar.
