This sequel to “These Men” finds Paige, Eli and Cain trying to add to their family. Unfortunately, they've been trying for several months with no luck. The stork seems to be ignoring them...or is he? When an unexpected person shows up on their doorstep, it isn't quite the bundle of joy they've been hoping for, but their lives are about to get even more interesting. Someone from Eli's past is about to play havoc with their summer, and put a crimp in their love lives. A steamy, sexy, and incredibly complicated scenario is about to play out, one that finds Eli caught between a rock and a hard place (pardon the pun). Will Eli do the right thing, or put their relationship at risk?

Yet another great listen from Andrea Smith and her great choice of narrators. The steam is off the charts and These Men are goo to make you swoon and wanna jump right in and live in this book.
Reader, Writer, Lover of all things. Open minded and accepting, tolerant and understanding. All things are beautiful even the horrific truth
This second installation to the story of Cain, Eli and Paige starts off a bit rocky with the sudden arrival of a person from Eli's past that threatens the strength and happiness of his future but in the end the payoff for all the early chapters angst is an ending that will have you tearfully clutching your phone or whatever device you are reading or listening to the story on.
Such a worthy addition. :)
This is the second in the Men series and was as good as the first one. I love the relationship they have and how Paige interacts and grows. This is not my normal read but I really enjoyed it and will continue with this authors books.
Both are great. The audio version is an amazing performance.
The complex relationships between the main characters.
The first sex scene between Paige, Eli, and Cain. Ruby Rivers made me want to be Paige receiving all the attention of La Petite Mort (I mean, Eli and Cain). ;)
I will be honest... the first sex scene "bothered" me in the best way, I know what hot flashes feel like now, OMG.
Turn off the television... put in the earphones. A sexy as hell story awaits.
Paige Matthews is my she-ro! Lol! Not only does she have the love of two hot men, but she gets the privilege of trying to make a baby! In the middle of that bliss they get a rude awakening! I love how Paige's growth shows how she came from the smart mouth pistol who didn't take anyone's shit, to a responsible, stable and better at handling life women.Even showing that responsible side, it was still known that bitch Paige was still in there! This was a great story and sequel!
I loved going back to the characters Andrea Smith created! My Men picks up a bit after These Men ends. Everyone has settled into their new threesome relationship status. Life is rarely calm for very long! When someone from the past shows up, it threatens the HEA that was so hard won .
What kept this from being a 5* was Lindsey. She tends to come off as immature & a bit whiny. I'm not sure why she's hard for me to relate to. She has grown up & grown on me from the first book! I will definitely read/listen to more in this series.
