Fun Read, but the series is getting tired

This has all the ingredients you've come to expect in a Katie MacAlister Novel....funny dialogue, flawed heroines and wacky plots. I've read all the Dark Ones Novels and some are great and others not so much. This one falls somewhere in the middle for me. Katie MacAlister used to be an automatic download for me, but now I fear her books/series are getting a little old. They are no longer fresh and exciting. That being said, I still enjoyed this book but it just wasn't one of my favorites.
