Publisher's summary

New York Times best seller

Beloved author Debbie Macomber celebrates the most wonderful time of the year in this heartwarming Christmas novel of romance, hope, and the comforts of home - coming soon as a Hallmark Channel original movie!

Harry Mills is a guardian angel on a mission: help twenty-four-year-old Addie Folsom get her life back on track - and, if the right moment strikes, help her find love. Posing as a teacher at a local college in Tacoma, Washington, Harry is up to the task, but not even he can predict the surprises that lay in store.

After trying to make it on her own, Addie has returned home to Tacoma for the holidays, but this time she plans to stay for good, enrolling in the local community college to earn her degree. What she doesn’t plan to do is run into Erich Simmons.

Addie and her next-door neighbor, Erich, are like night and day. Growing up, he was popular and outgoing while she was rebellious and headstrong, and he never missed an opportunity to tease her. Now she intends to avoid him entirely, yet when they’re suddenly forced to spend Christmas together, Addie braces for trouble.

Perhaps it’s the spirit of the season or the magic of mistletoe, but Addie and Erich soon find they have more in common than they thought - and that two people who seem so wrong for each other may actually be just right. With a little prompting from a certain angelic teacher, the two are in for a holiday miracle they’ll never forget.

Praise for Mr. Miracle

“Macomber’s Christmas novels are always something to cherish. Mr. Miracle is a sweet and innocent story that will lift your spirits during the holidays and throughout the year. Celebrating the comforts of home, family traditions, forgiveness and love, this is the perfect, quick Christmas read.” (RT Book Reviews)

“[Macomber] writes about romance, family and friendship with a gentle, humorous touch.” (Tampa Bay Times)

“Macomber spins another sweet, warmhearted holiday tale that will be as comforting to her fans as hot chocolate on Christmas morning.” (Kirkus Reviews)

“This gentle, inspiring romance will be a sought-after read.” (Library Journal)

“Macomber cheerfully presents a holiday story that combines the winsomeness of a visiting angel (similar to Clarence from It’s a Wonderful Life) with the more poignant soulfulness of A Christmas Carol to bring to life a memorable reading experience.” (Bookreporter)

Guardian Angels at Christmas

MR MIRACLE by Debbie Macomber--Debbie Macomber has written another heartwarming story about angles coming to earth to help their human charges. Guardian angel, Harry Mills, is on his first mission on earth and is finding humans to be a bit of a challenge, as he has assumed that everything is kind, peaceful, and easy as times are in heaven. He's here, posing as an English teacher at the local college, so he can help Addie straighten her life out, and to hopefully find love for her also.

I always look forward to finding new uplifting stories about love and hope every Christmas season, and am never disappointed with a new Macomber story. This year, I especially enjoyed the humor that comes from angels visiting this earthly realm and the problems that they face with their human charges. This was an especially sweet love story, which included romantic love and the touching kind of love that comes from people helping others who have special needs from problems that they have encountered in their lives. I listened to this on Audible and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Sweet Listen!

I'm not a contemporary fan and rarely read them. But this was a great listen. Although not "biblically correct" it is still a sweet story about angels and their impact on some young West coast people in a Dickens' Christmas Carol parallel. Charming story and darling romance.

There are angels among us

Where does Mr. Miracle: A Christmas Novel rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

At the very top of the Christmas genre.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Mr. Miracle: A Christmas Novel?

I actually really enjoyed the beginning where we find out that people have angels guiding them along the way and even some people have multiple angels. You just never know when you are entertaining an angel.

Mr. Miracle

A cute, but rather short, Christmas story that will give you the warm fuzzies. As a first time Angel allowed to work on Earth, strange feelings and situations plague Henry as he becomes adjusted to life in the Human world. Cute Christmas short story!

A Christmas story to treasure

I enjoy all of Debbie McComber's Christmas stories
Olive Debbie Mccumber's Christmas stories are quite enjoyable, but there's something extraordinary about "Mr. Miracle" that makes it my favorite among them all. The variety of different stories woven into "Mr. Miracle" makes it an interesting and engaging read.

It was ok

It was okay. The title is a bit misleading, as this book doesn't really tie in with the Mrs. Miracle books. It was a little short and not much happened, but it was a decent, fluffy Christmastime read.

A little dull

Nothing bad here, just nothing terribly heartwarming. Nothing in the story really pulled you in and gave you any insight or Christmasy pleasure. Harry, the angel, new to earth was portrayed as more human than angel, which doesn’t make him wise or angelic at all. Celeste, the angel directing him, at least had a little something special about her, but she was kind of flat, too. The performance was fine, but her material wasn’t too engaging so all I remember about it was that it was ok. The Mrs Miracles were much better. If you haven’t listened to those, start there and pass this one by.

It was just OK

I always re-listen to DM's Christmas stories, but this story line was pretty thin. Not sure I'd want to listen to it again.
