Publisher's summary

In an all-new trilogy set in blissful Edilean, Virginia, Jude Deveraux weaves together the tales of three young women, best friends since college, and the lives, loves, and dreams that await them.

Sparks are flying between Jecca Layton and Dr. Tristan Aldredge. At the urging of her dear friend Kim, Jecca put the ruthless New York City art world on hold to spend the summer pursuing her passion for painting while enjoying Edilean’s tightly knit artistic community. For years, Kim’s cousin Tris - the town’s handsome and dedicated doctor - felt a deep connection to Kim’s college “sister” Jecca, though they had met only once before; now, Jecca is swept off her feet by this strong, sensitive man in a summer of sensual delights. But when long shadows announce Jecca’s return to “real life” and the big city, the lovers must decide: Can they survive the distance? And who will sacrifice the life they’ve created for themselves to be together?

Wonderful as always!

I have enjoyed ANOTHER wonderful story...a beautiful tale of love and sacrifice. Classy characters with a touch of sweet mystery as a bonus!

Nothing special

This was just a run of the mill love story. It needed some intrigue, Mystery, action or anything to make it more interesting than just a love story. Boy meets girl, they fall in love and live happily ever after. For what it was it was good, I just expected more, especially after the Edilean Series.

EASY LISTEN!

This book should have been included in the Edilean series. I enjoyed the story but the narration was on the mundane side. With the right narrator, many of Jude Deveraux's stories would be EXCEPTIONAL rather than just good. This particular book had some great characters. It's certainly worth your credit.

Great Listen

Jude Deveraux has done it again. Tristan and Jecca's story was wonderful. But then when does our fantastic Miss Deveraux not write perfection? Thanks for such a sweet romance with a swoon worthy hero and a strong heroine.

Jude Devereaux never fails.

This is another charming story by Jude Devereaux. I love the way she writes; characters that you can actually see in a world that comes to life among the pages. Though, I must admit, this was my first experience with an audio book. I think Gabriel did a great job. The tone of her voice and the way she carried the tone between characters, brought the story along at just the right pace. I look forward to hearing the next audio in this line of books.

Good book

I 💘 Jude Deveraux. I own most of her books. This had a very traditional storyline, but, it still made me smile when all worked out in the end.

Narrator is hard to get past

Sweet story. I enjoyed the entire Edilean series.

The narrator is difficult to listen to. Her consonant sounds are wet. It makes you want her to lick her lips to get rid of the saliva sound. Her s’s also whistle. It’s all very distracting
