Worth credit just for the fantasy of REMY!

This 3rd installment of Remy and Brooke’s story has the hea fans of REAl wanted!
The story goes quite a bit deeper into the controversial methods or treatments or lack thereof for ppl with bp disorder. Gives enough info for listeners to get a feel for what the person and families contend with. We still have the love story and sexy time along with action and drama set in the world of hard core underground fighting (yes this world exists in real life by the way) there is more focus on bp than the first two books & I was interested in hearing about it and it did not take away from the story, but enriched it.
Overall I gave this story a 4star review; it would have been a 5 star but I felt there were missed opportunities in many of the situations, where the story could have been expanded upon, for example; the enemy in last 2 books is still around (scorpion) and his actions or sometimes lack there of, got “watered down” in a sense. Hard to explain w/out spoilers so you judge yourself.
The narration is a 3 star; narrator for this story is just mediocre (not horrible but not good).
If you read my reviews you know I like to recommend other books so you don’t go into withdrawals like I’m prone to LOL

Mine is more than I hope and better than I expected. The meaning behind the series title makes me smile and squirm. Real. Mine.

Neanderthal man or not, Remy is a dream. He's a fantasy. He's her REAL. But Brooke is laying claim in this book, despite the rocky relationship drama, she isn't going to take it laying down.

Angsty and pushing buttons all throughout, Mine will have you ready to dismember and maim. It will also have you preening and hopelessly in love.

It's too bad too because after all he is MINE!

Awesome just like the first book of the series

I loved the characters and the love story between Brooke and Remy. I can't wait to see what is next.

and romantic and one of the best series I have ever read.... a love story like no other ... that makes your heart yearn and and I couldn't stop listening ... I am in love with Brooke and Remy.... best series ever

THE EPIC ROMANCE CONTINUES….

In my review of REAL (book 1), I mentioned that Remy had shot up to my top list of FAV MMA fighter heroes, well, scratch that….he's at the top of my list of epic romance heroes because I love Remy and his determination to conquer his personal struggles, and I also love the way he loves Brooke.

This book continues the beautiful, exciting saga as both Remy and Brooke are left with the aftermath of what happened at the end of book 1. Both Remy and Brooke's love is as strong as ever, but they still have to resolve issues that arise when dealing with the hurt after Brooke left. Brooke has to learn to deal with the jealousy of the lifestyle of a fighter and the throngs of women who try and push themselves on him. [Which believe me is not a real issue because Remy's devotion and love for Brooke is S-I-N-G-U-L-A-R. Seriously, he loves her like a lion. His love for her is hungry, intense, beautiful and passionate].

There's also the aspect of dealing with Remy's nemesis, Scorpion and Brooke's dirtbag sister, Nora. My favorite part of the story is the beautiful surprise the comes along and shakes everything up in Remy & Brooke's world. But, the good news is that the whole team is vibrant and very much present in this book, from Melanie (Brook'e fun best friend), to Riley, Pete, Diane, Coach. Both Brooke and Remy's parents also have a presence. In addition, we get to experience more of Remy's personal struggles with his medical condition and OMG it just breaks your heart so see him suffer (don't want to give that away from someone who has not read any of the books yet). But, some of the most beautiful experiences occur during suffering and I loved the words of encouragement and love that Brooke gave to Remy after one of his very hard days, in his personal battle.

This is one amazing sequel that doesn't miss a beat in heart-wrenching moments, and moments of ecstasy, alike. The energy and excitement that surrounds this epic romance is tangible and real. I have already begun a playlist with the songs that Remy and Brooke share with one another including their most memorable song, "Iris (Goo Goo Dolls)."

Narrator: Charlotte Penfield did an insanely brilliant job as narrator….seriously the woman has talent. She performed both Remy and Brooke's voices masterfully. This was one great audiobook experience!

Lions, tigers and bears! Oh MINE!

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful story. It's deep and emotional. I cried, laughed, cringed, and smiled throughout the story. I was always exhibiting some kind of physical emotion while listening. Brook and Remi are one of my favorite book couples. This should be on the big screen.

The depth of their love is tangible. I also appreciate how mental illness was discussed and dealt with in this story. I really have a whole new perspective to this condition.

Many people struggle and suffer with mental illness on various levels throughout their lives. They simply need their families and society to help and support them, and more importantly accept them for who they are. They need them to recognize the best in them and help them reach their full potential.

Thank you for such a heartfelt novel.

Katy Evans is an incredibly talented writer and Charlotte Penfield is a great narrator. She performed each character exactly how I would have imagined them.

Great job! I can wait to begin the next book in the series. I am hooked!

Such an intense love

This might be the best series I've ever listened to. So well written, so complex, so heartfelt and intense. You can feel the love between Remy and Brooke in every word. This is a sexy story but so, so much more. Brooke's lion is someone you will love and feel with every muscle in your body and soul. Remy is a tortured soul but finds solace in Brooke and she is so in love with him that she is tortured with him. Their passion is real and the writing of their story keeps you tied to this story for air to breathe. You want so badly for their love to conquer all the obstacles and along the way there are so many realistic hurdles to jump that the book drives you and compels you to listen for hours. Pete and Riley are funny sidekicks along with Melanie. Nora is a consistent pain in the neck and Diane is a ray of hope. But the lust and pure need between Remy and Brooke is felt in your soul as you read this book. Hats off to Ms. Evans you bring so much knowledge and light about the black eyes of depression and one can't help but feel the pain and destruction in it's path and the amazing love that grows between the lion and his lioness!
