This book is simply amazing! Author KS Haigwood can write some mind blowing characters. In this book. Mena finds herself in a predicament that tests every fiber of her being. Amazing Master Vampires, loyal members of the wolf pack and witches that are both evil and good around every corner keep you guessing and wondering who is good and who is bad. Mena has no clue who to trust and who to watch her back. Mena is in a race against time and the clock is ticking fast. READ THIS BOOK for a great Moonrising you will not forget!
This audiobook was dine very well. That being said in my opinion, to answer the above question, is that it depends on what an individual is in the mood for. This was one of the better produced audiobooks that I've heard. It really helps make the story stand out.
When the main character comes into her own power & realizes it.
No This is the first pyre downs recording I've listened to.
Rising desires lead to changes
Yes, the story was enjoyable, well-paced, and well performed. I would advise to read or listen to the first book: Accepting the Moon: Prequel (Moonrising Book 0). I had to stop and go find it so I would have a better understanding. I could have continued without doing so, but I'm a bit finicky about that stuff.
I actually have two that are tied for first. 1) When Alex revealed the name of his dog...err...wolf. 2) When Ace told Phoenix he smelled like cotton candy. Both moments had me giggling out loud in the middle of the restaurant where I was having lunch.
I'm not sure. It took a long while to get used to her voice. Once I did, it was easier to differentiate between the characters and get into a rhythm of listening.
There were definitely moments that was really into the story and wishing I didn't have to return to my job. Alas, life doesn't allow for 14 hours of story time. *lol*
Disclosure: I received a free copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.
I was a little wary of this because of the length of this book but I am so glad I listened to it, the story, and details were awesome. the characters drew me in and kept me through the whole book and loving every minute .
Yes. Captivating tale, told by a very good voice actress.
Phoenix pulling Mina out of the car
Not really. But you did laugh in some spots. But it was a really good listen.
Haigwood and Conley create a world built on polyamorous paranormal politics that would boggle the Borgias of the Italian Renaissance as Mena navigates the rocky road to securing her leadership of the pack. Pyper Down's moody narration is perfect.
Loved it! A lot of different characters which at first was difficult to know who's who but quickly fell into place. Can't wait to start the next chapter of the Vampie/Wolf/Lion packs.
