I have waited patiently for this book and you take excellent narrators and replace them with wet behind the ears narrators. Who does this? This has ruined the series for ME but if you feel you can overlook it I would like to know what other listeners think about it. I wish that casting agents would think these types of moves through because this was a bad change. 🤢🤢🤢🤢
This series was trucking along just fine and then....this snore of a book 4. Oh my goodness, I almost didn't finish it and considered returning it. Not only was the narration a disappointment, although Alexander Cendese should've been a good fit--deep sexy voice, but way over dramatized everything he said, and then the overall progression of the storyline was lacking. I started to get a little confused because things were going in a circle--maybe that provided some mystique, I really don't know. It seemed like the author was struggling to stretch things out, and wouldn't you know it, there's a freaking cliffhanger! Unbelievable. I enjoyed all the preceding books until this one went off the rails. I really want all the pieces of this puzzle to come together and for that alone, I can't wait for book 5.
Story line was ok but severely drawn out with no resolve at the end of the book. The narration was horrible, dry, and emotionless compared to all the others. Very disappointed.
I have to say I'm a little disappointed in this one. The first three were great. Jonah, not so much. Seems like pieces of the story were rushed and the new narrators were not as good. I will purchase the next 2 books because I'm invested in the story now. I just hope they will be better.
This book was a not as good as the first or second one it gave the reader a little more information, but I wish there was a little more to the story line and just as it starts to get better, the story ends, that was frustrating!
Why can't authors finish up one story & then begin the second? Cliffhangers can be done without just stopping the story in the middle. It's just a way for authors to get more money from a series. Sorry I'm done
The story is good and the previous books were great. The readers voices were hard to listen to in this book. I stopped listening because the voices were not easy to listen to. Not sure I will listen to others if these are the new voices.
