Publisher's summary

Linda Lael Miller's best-selling contemporary romance novels are always a treat. Without a doubt the sexiest of her McKettrick series, McKettrick's Heart introduces a bold new love interest for handsome ladies' man Keegan McKettrick.

Publishers Weekly enthuses over "the complex, conflicting dynamics [and] intense romance" in this sultry tale of smoldering passion.

Not a favorite

Would you try another book from Linda Lael Miller and/or Christina Moore?

Of all the books I have listen to by LLM, this one is my least favorite. Parts are just to unreal and too many things were not addressed.

Has McKettrick's Heart turned you off from other books in this genre?

NO!!!

What three words best describe Christina Moore’s performance?

Didn't like

Was McKettrick's Heart worth the listening time?

It is a one time only story, which I would no recommend to friends, but enjoyed her other books.

Good story

I liked this Audiobook, as I have enjoyed others in the McKettrick series. They are enthralling and if you listen to them in your car, you won't want to turn it off to get out. The only thing that I didn't like was that the only African American characters in the entire series it seems, are a maid and a chauffeur. We have a come a long way past servitude.

KEEGAN GET A GRIP!!

I am really enjoying the whole McKettrick series. This is would have been a great book accept for the black domestics. Come on Linda! Black people can do more than be maids or car drivers. You made the maid seem like a bully. You also made the chauffeur seem like he was interested in the maid only for a good time. (Why even bring him up when you didn't develop his character.) As a black educated person, I was offended by the way these characters were handled. We are not in the era of Gone with the Wind thank you.

Keegan had some issues he needed to deal with. Thank you for writing about a strong woman like Molly. She did not hesitate to put Keegan in his place when he acted like an "ass".

Will I read LLM again?? Heck yeah. She is still one of my favorite romance authors.

Good

The story and narrator both kept me entertained easily. And there is an ongoing, though mild, amount of humor that was quite enjoyable. But I must say--based on the author's description of the chauffeur--she reeeeaaallly must work on her ability to describe people of color. It left a lot to be desired and detracted from a good story.

I want a man like Keagan!

Loved it! How lucky can you get to find a man like Keagan?
Read it twice or listened to it twice in audible. And, Devin won a lifetime of love.

Pronunciation

Please learn how to pronounce Cadillac. Gosh! So annoying. Have you not watched a Cadillac commercial or went to a dealership!
