Book hang over after listening to this story!!!

If you could sum up Maybe Someday in three words, what would they be?

Incredible, Mind-blowingly Awesomeness

This novel Maybe Someday just blew my mine. I love everything about it from the beginning to the end. The story between Ridge and Sydney is so heartfelt that I felt everything they did while reading their story. Getting to hear the songs when I read them was incredible. I had bought Griffin Peterson's album before this book came out and I loved the songs and they way he sings them. Now reading the meaning of the songs brings happy tears in my eyes. I recommend buying the album and listen to it while reading this book because it brings the story to life. Yes this book will have you in tears and while reading it you will be consumed by the story and not be able to do anything until you have read the whole book. I love that Colleen Hoover writes these wonderful stories and her books are for every age group. Her stories are focused on the storyline and about real life situations which makes her stories the greatest.

What other book might you compare Maybe Someday to and why?

None to compare. This story is unique.

Have you listened to any of Zachary Webber and Angela Goethals ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I have not listened to these narrators before. I loved the way they made these characters come to life and I felt emotions that I didn't when I read the story. You could hear the heartbreak when it happened and it made me feel a deeper emotion to the characters.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Loved everything about this book and it is one of my favorites. Yes I cried and laughed. My emotions were everywhere.

Any additional comments?

I love this story that Colleen Hoover created. I recommend that everyone who listens or reads this story, please listen to the songs that are in the book which is song by Griffin Peterson. He has a whole album called Maybe Someday which is the same name as the book.

Awesome romance

WOW. Seriously Colleen Hoover sure knows how to keep a reader glued to the edge of her seat.
This audiobook just kept me enthralled!

College student Sydney Blake had a decent life. She lived with her best friend Tori and had a 2 year relationship until she discovers that said boyfriend Hunter was sleeping with said BF Tori. That double betrayal left her reeling and she ended up moving in with her neighbors Ridge Lawson, his BF Warren and Warren's special friend Bridgette.

Ridge Lawson is a musician and Sydney began writing lyrics to go with Ridge's guitar melody. As they spent time together, their attraction for each other grew. But Ridge has a five year relationship with a beautiful and nice girl named Maggie and Sydney was determined NOT to be a "Tori" to some other girl. The problem was that every day, it got harder and harder for Sydney and Ridge to ignore what was happening between them and each day their will power grew less and less. What do you do when you want someone who belongs to someone else?

Colleen Hoover made this triangle work. You just couldn't hate anyone because it just happened. The heart wants what it wants but bravo to those who are brave enough to maintain their integrity in such a situation.
this book has very decent people, people who cared about the feelings of others and are worthy of respect. This book is also full of love and angsty. I am pleased with how everything worked out. Love can be messy sometimes, but it can also be such a joy to experience.

The only reason i docked this book a half star was because after Sydney found herself in "Tori" land just 3-4 months after she was betrayed, I thought she would have enough empathy to listen to Tori give her an apology. Not necessarily forgive her, but hear what Tori and/or Hunter had to say. She straddled hypocrisy here even though the situation was slightly different. I would have liked to have some resolution on that end of Sydney's life.

You have got to be kidding me

Not my first book by Colleen Hoover but definitely my favorite. I downloaded the music and listened to the song as it corresponded with the book and it was like listening to the soundtrack in a movie. It brought a whole new level of intensity and magic.

Loved every word and the performance was spot on. It was real and believable. This will be one that I listen to again and again.

Sophomoric.

What a stOOpid insipid story. Sounds like it was written by a 13 year old girl.

Say When

Heart beat struggle :) It's almost 6 am! Need to sleep first so I can dream this review tomorrow!
...
Listening to Maybe Someday audio book and Griffin Peterson's original soundtrack was an experience, the music was perfect, a very important part of the story.
This story is told between the two main characters: Ridge and Sydney.

Can we truly love two people at the same time? If we can, then we probably can be broken twice.

Ridge has a girlfriend, Maggie, that everyone likes, they love and trust each other and that's all they want. Ridge loves music and feels music through his heart, something Maggie can't...

Sydney was betrayed by her boyfriend and her roommate best friend.
She has nowhere to go and she's alone and this all happened in her birthday! What a day to wake up!

Music brings Ridge and Sydney together, it's also the way they feel music that makes them fall in love with each other. Something about Ridge, makes the story turn in an whole new level. I couldn't imagine how this secret was going to be so important and loved how the author explored it into the story! I don't usually like love triangles, but I was so curious about the story now!

They work on songs together, writing them with words and melodies and wow the songs were so much more than words... it was an escape to what they truly feel without saying.
They fight their emotions, but feelings kept winning! It begins so sweet and innocence... but they know, this between them, can't happen and it gets so emotional, angst and heartbreaking.

Didn't want to hurt each other and sure didn't want to hurt Maggie... Sydney has been through the same path they were heading and that is not something they wanted to do to Maggie too, so they needed to end it.

We hear words about love, friendship, trust, loyalty, longing... words filled with such a passion that actually hurts!

Could this be fixed? Read it and find out!

I live music like the air I breathe, so you know, I stayed up some of my nights, just getting through the lyrics, trying to work the melodies and the ways these words could sound!
I searched for the soundtrack just when I ended the audio book.
The story was going so fast I didn't wanted to end, so it was really hard to put it down.

Loved all the pranks, learn a few!
Grabbed the epilogue bonus!
Maggie deserved to be happy and free!

Enjoy this book! You'll get hooked immediately!
