Humor and Heart

I really enjoyed this novella and the fact that it focused on Warren and Bridgett. I loved getting a better view of their relationship and getting to know them better. There were many laugh out loud moments but it also has plenty of heart. If you were a fan of Maybe Someday, this novella is not to be missed. If you haven't read Maybe Someday, this one probably isn't going to do much for you. The narrator made Warren come totally alive in my mind and added so much to this story.

Funny... Short but Funny

I loved this book but it's no surprise because I adore Colleen Hoover. Her stories are always very entertaining but this one was the funniest yet. With characters from a previous book, I fell right into this audiobook but then it ended too soon. Wish it were longer but loved what there was. Highly recommend.

LOVE

Oh my goodness! What a story.

I wasn’t Bridgette’s #1 fan for obvious reasons but I KNEW she had to have a story behind her which shaped her into the mean woman she now was. I was right. Suffice it to say that I now fully understand her attitude and why keeps EVERYONE at arm’s length.

As for Warren? I always liked his character and now I can’t help but LOVE him. The porn detail about killed me! So funny and it all now makes perfect sense! LOL!

I need more of these two characters. They were funny, witty, and explosive together!

Jason Carpenter did a phenomenal job bringing all the characters to life with his narration. He is now added to ny favorite narrators list!

Great Read

Maybe Not was a great quick read by Colleen Hoover. Warren finds out that he is now going to have a female roommate and he instantly agrees to the idea. He didn't expect the new female roommate to be the cold and calculating Bridgette. They seem to not be able to stand the sight of each other and can barely be caught in the same room as each other. Warren theorizes that with the hate she carries, her capacity for love is even bigger. I loved reading about the beginning of Warren and Bridgette's relationship.

Awesome story

Great story. I read maybe, someday by this author and it was fun to see another characters story within the story. I really didn't like the voice reading the book. He'd have a fake southern accent when he was reading the dialogue of other characters, and it was odd.

Clarity!

As the 3rd book in the Maybe series, it was really fitting to hear the last love story that we only got to nibble on through the prior books. We finally get insight on these people, who they are and gain significant insight into their relationship. 1 negative, the reader occasionally sounds like an alternative reader clipped in sound bites. maybe there were rewrites but it sounds really odd when it happens.

Made me smile the whole read. Also made me be a little more hopeful with the fact that I might find the right asshole for me lol.

This narrator drives me nuts

I can’t even focus on the book because the narrator is so aggravating to listen to. I can’t tell if he naturally has a southern accent and is making it, or if he’s driving to give characters accents that shouldn’t have them. Also doesn’t help that he sounds like a 50 year old man playing a college kid.
