Great book!

I read the first book in this series and fell in love with 16 year old Joe and couldn't wait to read more about him. The narration is fabulous and my only complaint is that it didn't go on longer!!! Totally worth the credit.

Outstanding!

Outstanding! A true gem~both with the author & narrator. at first I didnt like the narration of the female voice; however by the end of the first chapter I had changed my mind. Thank you to you both and those who worked on this audio book.

Decent Story...Narrator not a good fit

I enjoyed the story, however, the narrator ruined it for me. His female voice didn't do it for me, but that wasn't the worst of it. His reading was so...mechanical. Like he was reading an airplane manual allowed. The love scenes were read with no emotion. It was difficult at times to enjoy the story because of the narrator. Luckily it's a short story. :-)

Flying High

Not “typical” in what I expected. My range of emotions was off the charts, highs and “not so highs”, but well worth the read and things clicked together the further I got into the book. Romance & thriller typical for Linda Howard’s excellent reputation.

Sexy, cute and satisfying

Colonel Joe Mackenzie meets his match in brainiac Dr Caroline Evans. Plus, we get a cameo with Wolf and Mary.
It’s a sexy cute story with a twist of suspense.
Boutsikaris has a pleasant enough voice, but he kept mispronouncing words and that got annoying.

Loved it!! I loved all the fantastic people. Read all five books and get to know the whole family.

This is one of Linda‘s earliest works. It’s a traditional romance format. She’s an incredibly talented writer who brings her endearing characters and stories alive. I love the Mackenzie family. The narration is fine. At the time this was produced audiobooks were read, not narrated. So the narrator doesn’t really differentiate his voice for each character. He mostly just reads the text. Still, it was very enjoyable.

Good story. Boutsikaris makes it better, as usual. I'd like to see the rest of the series in audio.

He did not fake a high pitch female voice that grates on your ears. Reads the book with feeling but not obvious acting

Wonderful part of the saga.

Love this story! A bit concerned about the pronunciation of many of the words. Have never heard aqua pronounced like it was in this story.
it causes a momentary stutter to the mind of the listener.
