If you could sum up Lover Unleashed in three words, what would they be?

HUNGRY - FOR - MORE!!!!!

What did you like best about this story?

Having read the book reviews, the majority thought the book was "out-of-character" with the previous books - and I "some-what" agree, BUT... only with the fact there were a lot of different story's going on at the same time - even so, the story's were well written, well told, and all interesting!!!

I don't think the Author could tell a bad story regardless to how many story's are being told at once - in fact I would say the Author is BEYOND BRILLIANT to be able to do so!!!!

So the answer to this question is:

How the Author was able to write such a Quality Book while telling several different story's at one time and not neglecting one character over another, all while keeping the reader interested and HUNGERY FOR MORE!!!!!

Which character – as performed by Jim Frangione – was your favorite?

Gotta tell you - Frangione does a GREAT Butch!!!

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Yep (I'm embarrassed to say) - it was at the Horse Race - not to ruin the book for anyone who hasn't yet read it - a tear or 2 was shed when the horse went down - I've been there / done that - which is why I'm sensitive to the situation.

I "APPRECIATE" Ms. Cole & Mr. Frangione for their hard work & dedication to the series and "pray" they "both" keep up the GREAT work as "ALL" of the books, so far, in this series have brought me such excitement & joy - THANK YOU Ms. Cole & Mr. Frangione!!!!

One of my all time Faves!

I not only love the writing but I’m totally in love and invested in these characters! Each novel for me is a joy! Jim’s voice is PERFECT! I can tell you this novel is one of my favorites. I love each of the storylines and am going to keep buying the audiobooks until I’ve read or heard them all! ‘Lover Unleashed’ is one of my faves. <3

J. R. Ward can do not wrong with these brothers! If you haven't read these stories, start at the beginning and work your way through. You will not be disappointed!

My favorite one so far!

This journey with the black dagger brotherhood is addicting. I love all the unexpected twists and turns. I love all the cultural references and the laugh out loud moments. Payne and Manuel’s story is so good and ending it with Glory was the best. J.R. Ward is such a good Author. On to the next book I go.

Love stories with strong women!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I would definitely recommend this audiobook to a friend and have. I love the entire series and am miserable waiting for my next credit in order to get the next book. The references to today's music and culture makes the series relate-able. Mix that with vampires, fighting and intimate scenes and you have an entertaining series.

What did you like best about this story?

My favorite part is the woman that can hang with the guys fighting and defend her mate.

Which character – as performed by Jim Frangione – was your favorite?

Jim Frangione's interpretation is flawless, whether he is reading a woman's voice or one of many males. I can hear the difference between each character.

Love the series!

Delivers again

The story continues to unfold and grow… pulling you further into this world and characters. The descriptions and narration allows you to picture vividly what is going on. Cannot wait for the next!!!

The saga continues… and that’s a good thing, true.

In Lover Unleashed, you are allowed to contemplate a future that is as exciting as the past, if not more so. We’re given a gentle nudge that the BDB world is expanding and growing to a new and higher level.

The fantasy world is somehow richer. The love scenes are as hot and erotic as ever, while taking in more characters, deepening the storyline. You get the sense that this book is necessary.

It’s written in a mostly fluid motion that moves the story along in typical JR Ward style. I felt an occasional nip in the storyline, like my mind had to make a quick redirect to make it logical. Had it not been for those little “nips” I would have given it 5 stars.

If you’re considering this series, start at the beginning. If you are already into this genera, this series is a must read.
