New to audiobooks

I was a little put off at first, but the more I just listened, the more I loved it! I love reading so I did have a little snobby moment lol. I loved it, I loved seeing the story more when someone else read it.

Lover Eternal, The Black Dagger Brotherhood

The ongoing saga of the Black Dagger Brotherhood. This is the story of Rhage and Mary. But the ongoing fight against the lessers, The brotherhood is fighting the evil dead who is after the vampires. When the newest killings and sightings get more intense Rhage has to contend with the beast inside of him and his newly found mate, a female human. And how he and she must dance around the intricacy of the vampire life and her return of cancer. Will she even live long enough to have her happy ever after? And the stories that intertwine with each lead character in each book. Love listening to this narration and will look forward to the next in this series.

love the series

I really like this series, I've read them a couple of times, and now and listening to the books again, my only critique of the audiobook is the pause between chapters sometimes is too long to the point i think i either got disconnected or my battery died, and frankly it's annoying, everything else i loved

Love this story!

This story gets me every time, it's do good. I did not care for the narrator, at all, but I would listen again just to hear the story.

A decent story...

Overall I'd say I enjoyed this story. It's not the best I've experienced but certainly far from the worst. This is one of those times when I think if I had actually read the story, I would have enjoyed it more with the voices my own imagination would have come up with. I do have to say that the reader (Luke Daniels) is acceptable for the most part but his voice for one of the angels was distracting for me (he sounded like Jack Nicholson, really...Jack Nicholson an angel?) and he often spoke far too slowly for many of the male characters. Apart from that though he was fairly believable. I'm definitely interested in looking up some of the subsequent stories in this series.
