Even if the roar of the crowd could never distract him from the loss of his young son. But now, with an injured shoulder and his career on the line, Axel is stuck recuperating at a ranch in Stardust, Texas...striking out only with his gorgeous physical therapist.

Kasha Carlyle has one week to get Axel back in action, or she can kiss her much-needed job with the Gunslingers good-bye. It was okay but boring

This is a book I wouldn't think about when I'm going about my day and remember a scene or line that would make me pull it back up and listen. The story was not bad and narration was good but it was boring. She took the whole book, "I want him but I have to fight it, no matter what ". There was no real climax, no crescendo. I was disappointed. There were real life issues and situations, yes but the story, for me, did not come together in any meaningful way.
