Publisher's summary

Antony Love is the quintessential responsible oldest brother of a boisterous, Italian/Irish family, placed in charge at a young age by his parents who are busy running the family business. He manages his siblings with a fair but iron hand, until his life is shattered by personal tragedy leaving him the shell of the man he once was. When outspoken matriarch Lindsay Halloran Love becomes ill, the youngest brother Aiden shows up at Antony's garage, having dropped out of school (again), needing work and a place to crash. Antony provides both, with three caveats: "Don't smoke in my truck, don't be late for work, and don't mess with my girlfriend." But Aiden Love, budding novelist, gets one glimpse of Rosalee Norris, young widow of Antony's lifelong best friend and all bets are off. Set in horse country near Lexington, Kentucky, The Love Brothers Series is a saga of family devotion that runs as wide and deep as the Ohio River - except on Sundays when brothers Antony, Kieran, Dominic, and Aiden work out their frustrations on the basketball court, Love brother style. The Love Brothers: A family saga with humor, heat and heart - not to mention beer, bourbon, and basketball.

Too Much an Authentic Voice

Liz Crowe crafts two love stories tangled up in one book. With a full cast of the Love family, the authentic interactions lay the foundation for a sweet family series. Add on top of that all the antics and drama and readers have a book so packed with love, they'll be helpless not to fall for the Love Brothers.

I have to be honest... I wasn't crazy about the narrator. His voice sounded like an old man who'd smoked way too many packs of cigarettes. It may be authentic Kentucky but it's not a voice I want to listen to for 8 hours. If I did it all over again, I would've just stuck to the ebook.

Love comes at odd times

This is the second book in this series that I've listened to by this narrator. He took some getting used to but, he does a fantastic job bringing the characters to life.

A messy family story with so many twists and turns. Lots of heat. I love reading about the Love family!

The Love Brothers an outstading series

Would you consider the audio edition of Love Garage to be better than the print version?

I would say they are equal, the audio does give you more emotion and paints a nice picture.

What did you like best about this story?

How refreshing it is to be able to relate, these are real people living real lives. They are normal people who make big mistakes.

Have you listened to any of Daniel Dorse’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Only in a trailer, I would have to say the trailer video I did like his voice better. That is not to say he isn't an outstanding narrator he is. I think he is prefect for this series and brings a lot to it.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The mother's illness, how the family pulled together. No matter how bad things were they always came together when they were needed the most.

Any additional comments?

This not your normal romance by far but a refreshing one of normal people making normal mistakes. I know a few families like this one lol. No fantasy here for sure, this is a story about a family trying to get their act together who has many issues. Each trying their best to handle the cards life has dealt them. Just as with cards some hands aren’t the best, and some downright suck. You have to play the hand you were given and hope you can pull your butt out of the mess you make of your life. The Love Brothers have a lot of cleaning up to do, they have made a mess, now they must fix it without ripping their family apart anymore than it is already. All I can say is wow what a story, looking back at some of my family members I have to say a few of them would fit right in.

The narrator Daniel Dorse keeps you smiling and laughing as he paints a wonderful picture in your head. At times you forget you are listening to a book as he pulls you in and his voice takes you though the plot the author has woven for us. He did an outstanding job it was a lovely listen. As you listen you find yourself saying OH MY, OH DEAR LORD and laughing or chuckling at them

There are so many twists and turns here it will blow your mind. You wonder who will end up with whom and just what they will go through before the end. Will the wrongs ones end up married to the wrong people. Will they have enough balls to do the right things or will this be a totally disaster. All the characters are wonderful alpha males they fight over who will lead. What you have is just one hot mess! Liz writes a strong family story of love, laughter, loyalty, failures, sadness, fights, they are strong but flawed. This story goes into some very deep issues that you will say WHAT but if you think about it and look around you, you will see these issues every day. It does end on a very wonderful happy note but you have to wonder what Liz has in store for you with the next books in this series. I was afraid it would end in a cliffhanger but you sure will not find one here. The ending is wonderful and a few issues get worked out but a few for the others are still left open for the two remaining brothers. I can’t wait to see what mess the other two dear boys get into.

found this to be an outstanding listen with lots of humor, a wonderful plot with wonderful crazy characters. They will have to overcome a lot and maybe even grow up a little before finding their way. You can tell the author put a lot of thought into writing this series as did the narrator why he painted the story in our minds of The Love Brothers and all they have to go through. Liz’s writing style is refreshing not your norm but a refreshing delight. I have already read the book a few weeks ago, the audio just gave me a little more insight in some areas that reading does not.

Kentucky Bourbon in Book Form

What made the experience of listening to Love Garage the most enjoyable?

As a longtime fan of Crowe's Stewart Realty saga and Black Jack Gentlemen series, I couldn't wait to jump into the Love Brothers series. The narration is flawless. The characters are compelling. The covers are gorgeous. It's the whole package and I think every note has been hit squarely for the series. Bravo!

What did you like best about this story?

Liz Crowe is the queen of Relationship Fiction. The messy lives of the Love family and their cast of supporting characters are the real deal. Often reminding you of characters from your past or your own family at times, identifying with and loving the Loves will leave you wanting more. Like a good Kentucky bourbon, it satisfies, burns, and makes you want to reach for more.

Have you listened to any of Daniel Dorse’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

This is my first experience with Mr. Dorse's narration. It won't be the last. He is divine.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Just extreme joy at the chance to break in a new Liz Crowe series.

Any additional comments?

Give this series a chance to win you over. You won't be sorry.
