For Alexander's six brothers, it's a game of deception as they convince Melissa she is in the 18th century. Along with 250 warriors, they battle against the challenging Prince. It's a game of wits, and it's anyone's guess who will win. Alexander, their greatest warrior is smitten, and they are honor bound to keep his secrets.

Melissa, an American tourist, went to watch a reenactment of a month long Highland Battle but she went for a walk and walked straight into the middle of the battle and into the arms of Alex and his many brothers and it was love at first sight. But, because it rumbled with thunder she thinks she has stepped into the past - dumb yes but she gets even dumber.
Slow, totally unbelievably stupid boring female and plot, no build-up to their relationship - he bedded her on the first night (no fireworks there either), everyone was rich and handsome or beautiful, for one whole month she just went with the flow never questioning anything - even when they passed some riders wearing 21 century clothes. I would have thought this book would suit teenagers more than adults but then that's an insult to the I.Q.'s of teenagers. And just don't get me started on the terrible narration.
Worth a credit? I think NOT, infact I'd like mine back.
the narrator has to work on her male voices, other then that she was ok. the book is an uncomplicated easy listen, and the story gets a B for creativity. If you are interested in a relaxing feel good romance this is the book for you.
