Had good hopes

Would you try another book from Lauren Dane and/or Lucy Rivers?

I want to get the Tattoo lady book/story, but I do not like the reader...geez some of these readers have such an awful male voices! This author may not be for me, I can not put my finger on it, but I was disappointed.

What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)

No great ending...not sure how this could have been better. Another editor maybe or another reader, just not sure

What didn’t you like about Lucy Rivers’s performance?

This reader has a sing song like reading tempo and is very hard to stand. Way too many in my wish list due to bad readers on book #2 etc.

What would have made this romance irresistible?

the outline was good, and maybe that was the problem. the whole listen seemed just an outline.

I have listened to this book multiple times. It has a great storyline and smoking hot love scenes.

Bad narrator, great book

Would you try another book from Lauren Dane and/or Lucy Rivers?

I love Lauren's books and read them all. But I wouldn't recommend books by Ms. Rivers.

How could the performance have been better?

These books need a different narrator. Her male voices are awful (seriously, Adrian sounds high all the time).

Don't bail on Lauren Dane just because of this book! Her books are great, and narration on her other series is pretty good. Read this one in paper and pick up the other series here on Audible!

Three isn’t a Crowd

Todd, Erin, Ben

It’s utterly sad what Erin has been through. My heart hurts for her and all she has been through and will go through. It’s not something you can just get over. But she has the wonderful support of her family and a few close friends.

Todd has a hard time coming to terms with his who and what he likes is. He and Erin were once an item then he shied away.
10 years and a lot of hurt and broken relationships and he has found his way back to Erin but it’s more, his best friend Ben also comes in to play.
When feelings become more for all three of them.

I love that all 3 of these characters communicate. They don’t judge each other. But they talk things through and are there for one another. There isn’t the drama it’s just a story of second chances and opening yourself up to love and to be loved no matter who is the one getting and giving the love.

Loved this book, and will keep on to the next cause Brody! :)

Good one

I really enjoyed this story and look forward to the rest of the series. Lucy Rivers' narration is too dramatic, and takes away from some elements of the tale. But as the drama unfolded I was able to ignore that distraction.

Change narrator

The narrator grossly overacted!!! Love the Brown Family. This is the 5th time I've experienced this book. This narrator made it painful to hear.

Enthralling

Couldn’t stop listening. Sexy, interesting and well written. Can’t ask more than that. I wish a certain character had more stage time but not a deal killer. Very entertaining.

great storyline steamy sex!!

I really enjoyed this book... the storyline was great and the sex scenes were so incredibly hot... I sympathized with Erin and loved seeing her grow and accept the love in her life.

This was my second time listening to this audiobook because I remembered loving this story so much!
And this time I loved it all of again! This book has some hard situations, it has a great love story, it has hot sex and yes it has a Triad!!! SOLD!

I loved Erin, she is so unique, honest and not shy. She has such a serious broken heart that you wonder if she will ever get past it. Todd finally decides to stop hiding who he really is and is exactly what Erin needs. These two have great chemistry and the D/s thing down perfectly, I say that because they are great at keeping it to the bedroom. Then comes Todd's best friend, He makes this great relationship Perfect! This is the book I recommend to everyone who's looking to dive into the MM genre slowly.

The narration is a hard thing for me to review because I LOVE Lucy Rivers but this is not her best work. I think maybe it was when she was new to narration because if I rated the narration of this book a 2, I would rate all of her new work a 5 for sure.

Properly hot

One thing I hate about most romance books is the tip-toeing round-about way sex scenes are written. Thank goodness I found an author that's willing to write a properly dirty sex scene! None of this "member" and "flower" crap. And the romance and bdsm and polyamory was healthy! I appreciated it greatly.
Also the plot was good.
