Publisher's summary

What's the worst thing about wanting a sexy NFL football player? Everyone else wants him, too.

After catching my boyfriend getting deep-throated by a skanky cage girl, I've learned my lesson - never date a professional athlete. Never. Besides, I have more important things to worry about, like not blowing my shot to make it as a broadcast reporter. I won't let anything get in my way, not even the new "it boy" of the NFL and my hot-as-hell neighbor.

What's the worst thing about getting death glares from his new neighbor? It doesn't make him want her any less.

I've worked my ass off to make it to the pros. The last thing I need is the complication of a relationship, especially since my last one was a total train wreck. But I can't stop thinking about the feisty girl next door with the smart mouth. And I'd love nothing more than to show her what to do with that mouth.

Friends with benefits might be the best idea he's ever had. Or the worst.

Good series

I listened to all three books and loved them all. The narrator did a fantastic job on this story. I’m so thankful the author cleaned/ ended the series in the epilogue to wrap everything up! So cute that their will be twins again and a boy to grow up with just like the main characters when they were young. Also I loved getting a small update on the old characters lives where they are now since I fell in love with each of their stories

Solid series

excellent narrators

What a difference the story can do with excellent narrators. When the narrators read with passion and emotion, they are the reason I listen instead of reading the book, This story and narrators did not disappoint me. I highly recommend!

Love Darrin!

I love how sweet and funny this big football player has turned out to be! Sexy, witty, and thrilling. I’m all for a happy ending.

Loved it

Listened to the series out of order- I liked this one the best. The female voice was so much better this book, not as high pitched and had much more emotion. She reads the most- Nelson does a good job too.
The emotional connection between the characters in all the books is strong - this book the most emotional for me. There’s a lot of angst, which isn’t my favorite, so I took a break from it. Angst is a majority of the book.

I’d use a credit for this book!

This book was my favorite of the series

Darren wasn’t my favorite in this series because he cheated on Clementine. After this book, he was my favorite. They go into great detail as to what happened in High School. He really is the sweetest guy in the series. Hannah was great too. They wrapped up the friend group at the end. Loved it!!!

Wow, what an amazing surprise!

I love this author, but didn’t think this read would be quite as emotional as her reckless series, but it turned out to be even better. I live the narrator’s and the characters they portrayed.

Story line on and on and on

I really got into the book at the beginning but while I love the character building... at some point you have to get to the point. Three chapters of the same oh same oh made it so I had to stop with 2 hrs left. I just couldn’t take it anymore.

Great Series Ending!

It was nice to hear Daren’s story because he came across as such a jerk in book one of this series. As in the second book, we learn that Jax really isn’t as heartless as he seemed and he was actually a loving brother. It’s the same with Daren, Jax’s best friend. We get a glimpse into why he cheated on Clem, and the struggles he went through to try to forgive himself for his past mistakes.

I love the friendship that the three of them had together. It’s just an example of what happens when you are not completely honest with the people you love. Time passes and you spend a lot of time with the “what if’s”. Fortunately, they worked it all out in the end and became better friends for it.

Maddie wasn’t my favorite character, but she was good for Daren. I ended up liking her much better in the end, but even their love story could not compare to Jax and Dani.

Arielle and Nelson both made touchdowns with their performances!
