Predictable, but great.

Maybe it's just me, but Karen is always a tad predictable for me. Tell her stories are always so detailed and interesting, and the characters so lovable, but it really doesn't matter if you know what's coming or not. This is one of my favorite books in the series.

Entertaining Amorous Roller Coaster Ride

Within the first several chapters of the book, the reader will be brought to stitches. Time travel is most definitely a delicate element to weave into any story, but Moning does an incredible job of bridging centuries past and present. Every time the reader thinks they can anticipate where the story is going, it twists and turns into a whole other direction. All the while still, Moning manages to use modern romantic chemistry to draw us into the dynamic between Gwen & Drusdan.

So incredibly entertaining. Gigante does an excellent job narrating. Won't disappoint. Fabulous story worthy of a blockbuster movie!

Best out of the series so far

I've listened to the Highlander series up from 1-4. So far this is my absolute favorite. I love the way it ended. Though I do agree with another reviewer when they said the MC needed more reactions to the 21st century. An epilogue showing us one year later would have been the perfect wrapper for this.

Excellent Audio

I listen to audiobooks will walking and this series made me look forward to it. Phil Gigante is the PERFECT narrator for these books!!!!! I highly recommend all the highlander series books!!

Karen Moning's highlander series is just awesome! I love each more and more! And I'm not going to tell any of the story this time, but this series is way worth money and time :)

KMM is the best

This book is funny, completely consuming, sexy and a bit angst filled. Everything you want in a book.

Great, delightful, and kept me hanging on

I could not put this audio down. I only gave it 4 points because I had to endure through the sex scenes before being able to continue on to what would happen next.

Best highlander series. Time travel at its best. You will not be disappointed to purchase these books Strong hero's and feisty heroine. Could not put down.
