Whoa, I’m fanning myself now.
This book was so good. Hot, funny, sweet and sour. I loved both Sabine and Rydstrom's characters, there was so much depth to them. I like the fact that they were not perfect. Kresley Cole sure knows how to turn them out. To date I have gobbled up her books and I cannot wait for more. Defiantly read in order. Each book is an adventure full of lore, romance, action, and great characters. And the cherry on top is the sexy narrator. If you like this book I recommend Sherrilyn Kenyon, Larissa Ione, Thea Harrison and Gena Showalter.

I CAN'T GET ENOUGH!
I can't get enough of this series, I can't believe that not all of them are on audible.com What am I going to do. This story continues to get better and the Narrator is never disappointing.

Exciting and sexy
I love these two together. This is true enemies to lovers and it’s deliciously hot. Both Sabine and Rydstrom are morally gray with long pasts filled with whatever the opposite of sunshine and rainbows is and they’ve both got this BDE that clashes with each others as much as it ignites them together.
This is also the book that left me asking is Rök getting his own book? (It’s The Witch Queen of Halloween releasing March ‘24)
Narration: Robert Petkoff is fantastic as always. This one is especially entertaining since he’s playing Sabine who is a fantastic storyteller in her own right.

WOO HOO 6 IS HERE BUT BOO HOO COZ I'VE FINISHED IT
I could ramble and gush on and on about just how awesome the world-building, multi-layered, action-packed plot it was - which was riddled with funny, witty, gripping, entertaining, sexy, passionately, tender, torturous scenes. Then, as the hours tick by, you encounter some magical, scarred, interesting, sexy (I know I said it twice but it's sooo important), likeable, vengeful, evil or just plain loveable characters who all inhabit this listen and they will mesmerise, entertain and capture your imagination right from the first chapter....... okay okay I'm rambling and gushing now!
But basically there are just 3 really good reasons why you should download this book right now - and they are:-
1) It was written by Kresley Cole - a gifted and talented author
2) It's narrated by Robert Petkoff - simply THE best narrator that Audible's got
3) It's only $9.89 for 12 hours, yes under $10 for 12 heavenly hours of paranormal perfection

story keeps going
This was not my favorite in either the story or the characters. I expected more from the lead male or at least from his previous encounters I anticipated something else. I also didnt care for the lead female, and she is by far my least favorite so far.
HOWEVER, this was just one part of the continuing story line and it had all the same elements that the previous books did so I enjoyed it still. I am looking forward to the next one!
