Especially Elliott. Moves along slowly with storyline. Excellant book also.
Heady

As some of the other reviews said, it is part of a longer story and I wished the author had made each one longer so I hear more. It stopped at a critical point and there were better ways to play this out that would have made the characters more 3 dimensional. However, if I find the others on sale I'll buy them.

My main issue is with the narration. The narrator is inconsistent and usually obnoxiously nasally. He give accents to people who lose them within the same conversation. It would be one thing if it was from one scene to the next. But if you’re going to dictate a character with an accent, at least maintain it. Also, it’s sandwich, not sangwich. If your native accent pronounces it sangwich, that’s cool for you. But lose it when you are narrating. There’s no “g” in sandwich.
The narration is why I almost gave up on the book.
