Publisher's summary

A first kiss that changed everything.

Killian Kane. He was the most feared guy in high school. Guarded. Angry. A fighter. But when I caught him watching me with his captivating green eyes, I saw something more. Something protective and kind. He warned me to stay away from him. I did. Until I didn't, and he kissed me. A knee-weakening, body-tingling kiss that left me breathless. And scared the hell out of me. And then...he warned me never to come near him again, or next time he wouldn't let me go.

That was 11 years ago. We aren't teenagers anymore. He has probably forgotten me. He's a famous rock star now. I'm a dance instructor with a broken dream and desperate for a job. So, when we cross paths again I don't expect him to remember me. He does. And his warning 11 years ago? I'm about to find out exactly what that meant.

Kite..not what I was expecting

Waited a long time to get to the mysterious Kite. It was not nearly as dark as I was expecting. Always love hanging out with the guys and their girls from the Torn Asunder band world. Deck is up next..off I go. This world continues with the Unyielding series. I'll certainly be revisiting the Tear Asunder series again in the very near future. Nashoda is now an auto buy for me.

Beautiful love story

What did you love best about Kept from You?

Tough question, I love a lot, the storyline, the characters, the timeless and undying love.

What other book might you compare Kept from You to and why?

I can only compare to Nashoda's other books.

Which scene was your favorite?

When Kite telling her the Orchid meanings

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Yeah all her books do that to me I laughed and I cried.

Any additional comments?

I have to say that the voices are close to my idea as Savvy and Killian. I love those voices...
Every book by Nashoda can shutter your heart and then piece by piece build it again. Every one is a book you will want to carry away with you forever.

Kept From You

I've been waiting to read Kite's book for what sets like forever and I must say it was worth the wait. I enjoyed it. I enjoyed watching Killian and Savvy reconnect and fall for each other.

I think the narrators did a pretty decent job conveying the emotions and telling this story. However I didn't really enjoy the female narrator's male voices, I like her voice just fine for Savvy's parts but the male voices kinda grated on my nerves. The male narrator's voice I liked, loved his Irish brogue but his voice isn't what I thought Kite's voice would've sounded like. I expected it to be deeper and rougher but I'm not going to lie I loved listening to him read the sex scenes.

All in all I found this to be an enjoyable read and I definitely recommend it.

Killian Kane, I`ve waited a long time for you

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes it certainly was, I`ve waited along time for this book to be released.
I do wish I read the book first before listening to the audio, I`m not sure if its me but I found Erin Mallon a little to breathy. It suits most of the characters she does in other books but I don't think it was right for this book.
As for Rory White, sh*t I loved this voice and accents that's for sure, but he did sound older than what Killian was in this story.
What doesn't mesh for me could very well be perfect for other listeners, so grab it and enjoy.

Best narration of series. Sexy Irish Brogue !!

Loved the story line and fell in love with the Kite and Savvy! But this is how a book should be narrated, with individual actors portraying each character. Not one person telling the story, attempting to use different voices to convey different personalities. Just doesn't work as well for me. The actors sexy Irish brogue was icing on the cake!

Great listening!

I really loved this audiobook! I had not listened to an audiobook by Nashoda Rose before and I immediately bought the other three audiobooks in this series. The complex man who is the hero, Killian, is a drummer in a famous rock band. He and the heroine, Savvy, knew each other in high school. Their separation of eleven years hasn't changed the secret longing he had for her, but his past life and his family secrets keep him from going after her until she takes a job in the nightclub he half owns. Soon they are involved in a hot affair, but his father (who is a business rival and just plain evil) does something that causes Killian to let her go. I loved the resolution in the end of the book. The narration was great and I really enjoyed the slight Irish brogue that Rory White has!

Worth the Read

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Nashoda did it again. You wrote about difficult situations but also a beautiful love story. This series is in my top 10 and will always re-read. Everyone needs to get a copy. Getting to Listen to the Irish accented Kite was thrilling. I enjoyed this audible. <3

This is hard to rate….

The male narrator almost ruined the book!!!!!! If you can look past his voice then it’s a good book
