Terrific Narration! Love the NZ accents!

Where does Just This Once rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Very, very high - loved the New Zealand accents and learning the pronunciation of the names and locations. This fun romance translates well to audio format, and I was already a fan of the eBook.

What other book might you compare Just This Once to and why?

Loved the entire "Escape to New Zealand" series. Looking forward to the rest of the books in audio format.

Which scene was your favorite?

Makes me laugh out loud - after meeting over dinner, when Hannah's brother, Matt, calls her early the next morning because he has learned who Drew is.

Hannah travels to New Zealand for a 3 week vacation, to get away from her multiple obligations.
Drew Callahan is a professional rugby player who rescues a pretty mermaid while kayaking.
Their time together is so memorable, Drew finds ways to visit Hannah when she returns to SanFran. When their connection stays strong, Drew convinces her to move to NZ.
It takes time for Hannah to overcome her protective self sufficiency and trust in Drew and each other. A good HEA ensues:)

At first I was hesitant, because the accent was so American, but once the Kiwi voice hit, I was hooked!!

This book was an escape for me. it grabbed my curiosity and held me captive throughout. Thorougly enjoyable!

Such a great start to the series!

This book is not my favorite of the series but it is still VERY GOOD! These books offer an escape when needed and they are easy to listen to. I love listening to Claire Bocking! She gives such a great performance throughout the series.

Just this once

Good clean romance book. A new Zealand rugby player meets an American woman while she is on vacation.

Easy read, addictive, love the accents

The story is wonderful and I couldn't stop listening. I was sucked in and I fell in love with the characters.

The worst part is her insecurities of herself I wants to scream at her and try to fix her and tell drew to say the right things.

The ending makes it all worth while. Light hearted steamy romance book.

Not much to this story but sex.

This story was not very complex. It relied too much on the physical relationship. Not much plot.

I don't usually listen to books twice, but I would listen to this with a friend again.

What did you like best about this story?

I like having alpha male characters that are faithful and patient.

What about Claire Bocking’s performance did you like?

I enjoyed her talent with accents. I also appreciate that her female characters sound like women and her male characters sound like MEN!

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I laughed a lot throughout the whole book, and I did get teary eyed a few times, but especially towards the end.

Any additional comments?

I wasn't expecting much from this book, and I actually owned it for awhile before I started listening to it. Once I started it, I couldn't wait to get back on the road (where I do most of most listening) to continue listening.

Would you consider the audio edition of Just This Once to be better than the print version?

Yes, I love hearing the accent.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I Love Drew because he never gives up and is always so sweet.

Which character – as performed by Claire Bocking – was your favorite?

Claire did a great job reading as Drew. She made sure you felt what he was intending you to feel.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Yes, at the end when Hanna realizes that she would be missing out on a life of happiness with Drew and she trys to run to him on the field.
