Just exactly what you’d expect.
Very well narrated. Although the Male lead came off young and dumb at times...

Enjoyable read

This book was funny and actually made me laugh out loud at times. I enjoyed having a short read for once. I usually listen to books that average 14 hours. This was light and delightful.

Okay for an Escape selection

I like how Gabby steps up to the challenges presented. I was not happy with our guy Dale. He was not what I expected. Very shallow and without much direction in life. But overall the story is interesting. The book is missing something - just can't put my finger on it. I liked it well enough but glad I didn't purchase it. This is an okay selectoin

Good book but why was it in the erotica section?

I can see this is marked as contemporary romance but it popped up in erotica for some reason. There is one sex scene which is romantic but not particularly what I would call “erotic”.

The story was fun and I liked that the female love interest was not the weak one in the relationship. She was the strong one who taught the male love interest a thing or two about being a better person. I like that so much better then a lot of romances that make the women so weak and in need of rescue all the time.

Just Deceive Me

Gabbys lack of confidence gives people the impression of her inability to accomplish things.Wanting a big account that she has spent a lot of her time living and learning about,she decides she’s going to put aside her fears to finally get what she feels she’s earned.Going against one of the senior CEO’s,Dell...who is known for his athleticism and competitive nature.Gabby has her work cut out for her,but over confidence on Dells part,turns out to be his down fall.

There are actually several. One of the funny ones was in the beginning where Gabby knocks over a planted pot with a tree in it in front of the entire company she works for.

A fun sexy listen

This is a story of an office romance between Dell and Gabby, two marketing account managers that want the same big sporting company account. They find themselves competing in a wilderness survival challenge in order to determine who will get the account. Though Dell clearly has the advantage to win, the author of this book does a great job of using Dell's brawn, Gabby's smarts and dumb luck circumstances to help even out the competition. In fact, this author goes to great length to be unpredictable - even before the competition begins. It really made the story most interesting, and kept me listening well past bedtime. Dell & Gabby made a great couple (with some serious passion and heat being exchanged between these two), and the secondary characters were also interesting and added to mayhem and fun. This is my first book by this author, and I will search out more. Overall, it was a light, funny, sexy and unpredictable book. The naration was really good too! For a HQN Blaze book, I was impressed.

I really liked this story. Gabbie will have you laughing out loud. This is a short story so things move along pretty quickly but it does not detract from the romance between Gabbie and Del. It's simply a very good story with the right amount of spice. I will be looking for more from this author. I already like the narrator who does a good job with this one too.
