Publisher's summary

Talia and Scarlett are the perfect opposites of each other except for the fact that they are identical twins. Talia is focused and brainy and finds interacting with people strenuous. Scarlett lives life with her arms wide open to each new experience and is the life of every party. They are the perfect foils for each other, weak where the other is strong and vice versa. Unfortunately one of them is fighting a losing battle, and when she makes a request for one final hurrah to finish her bucket list, her sister can't refuse her.

Dr. Zane Michaels has devoted his life to developing treatment protocols for those who have no further treatment options. Driven by - and married to - his career, he is okay bypassing personal human relationships. Until he is presented with the machinations of two resourceful women who change his world in ways he isn't prepared for. When he is asked to help make the trip home more comfortable for one of them, he faces the biggest challenge of his life. For once the mission is not about finding a cure for cancer but about healing the hearts of those involved in the journey.

A great listen!

Heartwarming and heartbreaking this book explores the effect of personal connections and the highs and lows of supporting someone through a terminal illness and finding love at the end. Great story; poor narration.
