So Tthis was my first audio book/author that I listened to and i must say i am definitely hooked can't wait to read(listen)to the next book in this series, if your into paranormal romance this is a great starting point.

Kind of boring and slow
What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?
The book just moved kind of slowly. There needed to be more action in it. Even the "love scenes" were pretty boring (which is uncommon for McCarthy's books, typically).
Would you ever listen to anything by Sarah McCarty again?
I'm not sure if I will listen to any more books from this series. Her other series is really good, though.
Have you listened to any of Tavia Gilbert’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
Tavia Gilbert is one of my favorite performers for audiobooks, especially for Jeaniene Frost's books. She did a great job in this book, as usual.

The only reaction this book sparked was......boredom. I had to force myself to finish listening.

I didnt read the first book because of all of the bad reviews. This one seemed to have better reviews...the book was ok. Some parts were drawn out it made you zone out away from the story. I wont be reading the 3rd book b/c the just rescued the next character and she has a baby with her....That turned me away. A baby would seem to distract from the romance of a man and woman and the attention wouldn't be mainly focused on them and there chemistry, but of the baby's welfare. : / Not for me.

Boring
This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?
I couldn't wait to get to the end. I found myself reading other books and listening to other books while trying to finish this one. Needless to say it took me a while.
