Men in blue...
Detective Liam St. Paul is a bit of a manwh*re since the death of his wife...that begins to change when he runs into Dr. Emily Kelly at a coffee shop...literally.
There’s just something about the doc w captivating eyes. When Emily is assaulted and her life is threatened, Liam goes into protective mode. Throw in some drama between Liam’s partner and Emily’s firefighter brother and you’re not bored. That said, the beginning of the book feels more like a draft with events jumping around. Things get interesting about halfway through.
