Jeff "The Terminator" Holder is the closer for the Texas Mustangs' baseball team, and revered throughout the Major League for throwing inside heat. His twin brother, Jason, the Mustang's catcher, leads the League in hits. They share a love of the game, as well as their identical DNA - but that's not all they share. Unable to resist their charms, Megan finds herself in bed with both men, but falling in love with only one. Locked in an epic battle against the steroid pumping Martin McCree, Jeff's obsession with striking out McCree strains his relationship with his brother, and leads to an injury that threatens his career and dents his ego. Megan does her best to get through to him, but if Jeff can't see past his failings to find the love she's offering, he's going to strike out in the biggest game of his life.

Firstly, I made a terrible mistake of starting this book before bedtime and at midnight I was saying to myself "ohhh just another chapter"..... then at 2 a.m. I'm wondering "well how are they all going to set out the ground-rules"..... then by 4 a.m. I'm thinking "wow lucky lucky girl but how's it going to work out for all of them"..... and finally by 6 a.m. I've decided "sleep is overrated huh who needs it"..... Then finally the birds started singing as the dawn broke and I thought "ahhhh lovely."
As you can see this was a non-stop listen for me as this very tender ménage starts to unfold with 2 sexy handsome successful baseball stars and a nurse who decide to share their lives with very hot consequences. Yes, it was full of passion and sex (I have however heard far worse) but it was sooo much more. A touching thought provoking tryst that unfortunately can't go the distance when more than hot sex is at play and everyone becomes miserable when love joins the game.
It also focuses on a few baseball games as their feelings are stretched and the games suffer and we hear about Megan's work in the paediatric ward. It's a lovely listen that will pull at your heart strings because you will find yourself empathising with all three of them as the storyline flows from erotica and enters into a true love story.
Worth a credit? Absolutely yes, and I'm really looking forward to the next game in the Mustang series.
I'm proud to be a bookaholic...addicted, obsessed, passionate!!! My favorite way to relax & escape reality....
If you love base ball and sex than this is the book for you. Twin brothers Jason & Jeff play baseball and they both want to share the sweet nurse named Megan. Megan decides she wants to except the offer of a menage. Let's just say....after lots if sex and baseball performance issues. Jason starts to realize he feels like a third wheel. For the first time, Jason decides he needs to find his own woman. He loves Megan but not the same way his brother does. After some confusion and issues are resolved between them. Jeff and Megan decide to be together forever. The book was average. The menage was sizzlin hot. I will continue with the next book.
I'm a 25 year old mum to my beautiful nearly 2 yr old daughter and i LOVE books , both reading and listening to them :D

Hot romance/Sci Fi we're so lucky to have Audible to feed our book addictions. I love walking my precious dog Sydney & listening to my books
This is a Very addictive read. I started in the morning and couldn't stop listing - at all. My ear plugs were in my ears non stop for the entire book. Soooo Hot, Every girls dream, 2 very hunky men sharing her in every way possible. This is the first book in this series and the second book will be an automatic download for me as soon as it is released.
I've always been a avid reader so now I'm a avid listener. I prefer the paranormal genre but I do like to switch things up. It's boring if you don't have variety. Of course I do love the romance and the hotter the better. Also, you can't beat a good thriller filled with suspense and a ending you can't even guess at until the very end.
It was a good listen but in my opinion it did not stand out from the crowd. Even the sexual situations were mild.
No and unless it get's allot of good reviews this is probably my last. I'll stick to the proven authors in this genre who know how to write these type of storylines with some fire.
I liked the sound of her voice but not how she pronounced a few words. For example wanton should not be said as wonton.
I would of enjoyed better sexual content considering the topic of the book. I was expecting or hoping for something similar to Maya's Sweet Series as far as the romance goes.
I'd say this book would be good to buy on sale and save you credit for a better book.
I love all genres of books. However, when I listen to audio books as I clean, garden, drive they are better with a lot of heat!
Sweet ménage. Pediatric nurse Megan takes the day off to go to the ball field to get an autograph for a sick little boy. He didn't bother to tell her that Jeff "The Terminator" Holder was smokin' hot and a twin. She waits with all the other anxious kids to get her autograph and when she does its accompanied by an invitation to dine. She can't give that to the sick little boy so she meets with Jeff to give him a piece of her mind and get another autograph for the little boy. Jeff is intrigued by the passionate nurse and makes it right. He goes one better when he and his twin Jason (also a ballplayer) show up at the hospital the next day and visit with the sick kids. Megan works too hard and hasn't had much time for a social life. Jeff does it for her. The twins are fascinated that Megan can always tell them apart. They proposition her with joining them both in bed and she figures it is better that way than doing without so she goes for it and the sex is fabulous. They guys push for long term and then things get sticky. Jealousy and lack of communication abound before the HEA. m/f/m
I have to say the choice of narrator was not good. Abigail Cooper had difficulty with the male and kids voices.
Say something about yourself!
Note to writers, if you have to make up drama to make your book interesting at least make it up in a plausible way so that your own characters don't have to say yeah I dont understand why I did that I think I was insane.... Ugh!
Megan is a pediatric nurse who is trying to fulfill the wish of a dying child. The child idolizes the closing pitcher of the local ML Baseball team....so she tries for an autograph and what she gets is a date. Once she figures out that Jeff is serious about dating her she finds out he is also serious about inviting his twin brother into the mix....things get very hot from there.
To be honest I really did like this book, even with the made up drama. But I do feel that the made up drama went on way too long and if they had cut maybe an hour out of this book it would've been a lot better. All in all I will read the next one but if the crazy made up drama repeats then I will be done with this author. On a positive note, the narrator successfully did both male and female voices, even if she was what I call a slow reader, so THAT was good!
Never before have I given such a low rating to any book, but this one earned it.
The majority of the book is 'auditory pornography' VERY loosely held together by a weak story line. Yes, there is some baseball in this, but not a great deal.
In the very early part of the book, my impression was that some of the reactions of the characters were inconsistent. However, I do think this author has potential in creating characters. It just was not too evident in this story.
This is (probably) the only reading performance I have encountered where it was necessary for the listener to keep close track of who was speaking, as the reader's interpretation did not change at all. Well, let's say "very little" (change). Male and female voices all sounded much the same.
I wondered how the author was going to make a series out of this, but I saw the answer at the very end. The next book likely will take off from where the first left off. So it's actually sequential, rather than series.
Sorry, I just couldn't find any redeeming features to this audiobook
